I'm in the US in a town with many Russian immigrants. I always admire their work ethic and ambition and their families. The little kids are always dressed nicely and are well behaved. I pass by the big Russian church every Sunday and everyone is in suits and the women (apart from being gorgeous) are dressed in their finest. I'm an old man, but if I were younger I would definitely like to try living in Russia. To me it seems to be the last civilized place on earth.
The picture you saw is presented by the best layers of the Russian nation. Inside of Russia it's almost all completely different and not like that. Why would otherwise so many Russians go to the States?

I came to Canada as a kid (10) lived here for the last 27 years, my husband also grew up here, been here for 30 years. We have everything, good careers, a house, cars, we have two kids and... We're planning to leave all that and move to Russia this summer. I can see the decline in the west, the values no longer align with ours and I simply don't see it getting better any time soon. So I completely understand your position!
I follow one family that moved from Canada several years ago. They were fine in Canada but moved because of their values. They are Christian and didn't like the situation with drugs and lgbt.

@@josephineamawiafe9428 Yes. Check out the term democracy. The original word demos came from the very early ancient Greek societies, it specifically described one class of people: very wealthy men who had slaves. Democracy means the power of such men. You see, they do not deceive people about their plans, it's just that regular folks do not bother to research what it is that you agree to accept.
It is the same all around the world. In the States you work to be a consumer, in Russia and many others countries you work to survive and pay the bills
Moreover, by their actions they make us think you all wish us death and suffering. Every one of you, not just the government. They make yall our enemies when you're not.
After this video I just watched another one he put in Russian language. The dream and the reality.
I think you are just on time to be making this move and in my opinion it is the right and only move you can prudently take for your sake and your family's future. Please don't procrastinate because time is short. You will be surprised that nationalities of all sorts are dreaming to make the move you are making. I am ethnic Han Chinese and raised Filipino and seeing what I am seeing happening everywhere, the only place to go is either Mainland China or Russia. You can't stay sane living in the west., in any place considered the west. The decay is pervasive. It's wonderful that you are fluent in Russian. Keep in mind, living in Brooklyn is not representative of the US in general. The US has many nice parts such as New England. In US, the nice areas are outside the major cities, while in Russia the nice areas are the major cities. I think Russians may not understand the differences in the countries. In Russia, I think people would love to see St Pet or Moscow, but in US for example, my mom doesn't even want to go to New York because it's crappy and full of ugly trash and crazy people everywhere

As someone who lives in EU but has visited Russia several times i share alot of the same feelings. The west is a declining society heading in the wrong direction in an uncountable amount of ways. And even as a foreigner in Russia who doesnt speak the language, the feeling and the people are alot different, nicer, the values are completely different and I almost felt like I was home. Its strange, I have no heritage there but how I am as a person fits alot better in Russia than in Eu.
Because America is the source of all the bad influence of the world. Social media is killing our children and culture. America can't even decide what is a woman! LOL!
3 things: 1: There are countries that have the same values as Russia but none of the negatives, and russia has alot of negatives. Russia isnt the only country thats "russian-ish". 2: The west is heading in the wrong direction but russia is heading in the right one but declaring halph of the 1st world as enemies and attacking a country of 40 million people after living in peace for more than 80 years since ww2? 3: If you think thats "the right direction" then go to russia, you belong there
This is also due to the bottomless stupidity of those people who do not really understand what Russia is politically. Moscow is not real Russia. Russia has no civil society that has any influence on politics, it is a country still living in feudal times with the cult of an absolute ruler.
Hi, Alex! I feel the same! Just decided to live in a village and found several interesting projects in home agriculture sphere. Moved to Canada from Russia when I was 8 with my family. Lived there 20 years. My husband is Canadian and we have two kids who are toddlers. We just moved to Georgia to escape Canada and it's social decline. I worked at a place where most of my clients were transgender, I've seen things that are so insane, people don't believe me when i say it. The indoctrination of children there is like out of a psychological thriller. I feel like I still have PTSD. Homelessness and drugs everywhere. People aren't happy. Anyways, we are so much happier here. People here are happy and healthy, no more BS. My parents and sister moved back to Russia as well and really love it.
You brought up a good point, I feel like a lot of people in Russia dont understand or know whats going on there, they all think either im exaggerating or its Russian propaganda..........meanwhile i didn't even share the worst details.
Your exactly right I got some PTSD too from Canada. I'm in Armenia. People are a lot happier here too. And they don't believe me when I talk about thr transgender social craziness out there, thr drug use and everything.

Omg! your story resonates with me so much. My parents brought me to New York from USSR in 1979. I was made fun of during attendance in school when a teacher tried pronouncing my last name, Kids made fun of my Russian accent and our clothes because parents could not afford Jordache jeans. My cousin was thrown into garbage cans by kids for not dressing in American branded clothes.. My friend and I did all we could to forget Russian language, we lied to people about us being Russian. We told everyone we were from Yugoslavia. We were hated for being Russian because there was a plane shot down in the 80s. We did everything possible not to be associated with Russia. Realizing now how stupid I have been. Now as an adult I work to live. Getting up at 4 am to go to work and not come home till 6:30 pm. Commuting with homeless and mentally unstable people 3 hours a day not feeling safe daily is weighing . The division in society is so huge. You can't say anything outside the narrative or you will be fired or shunned. You have to watch every word you say. We are living in a groundhog day. As an adult now I found My Russian soul. I dreamed as a child to go to Moscow but never did because here we were always told about the crime there and how unsafe it is there so we chose every other destination. One day we took a cruise to the Baltics and stopped in St Petersburg even thought we were never there or from there it felt like home for the soul. I will never forget that feeling. I am originally from Dnipropetrovsk but it was Russia (USSR) and I consider myself Russian and now very proud of it. One day I want to realize my dream of going to Moscow. I admire you guys that you made your move. Everything you say is a 100 percent. I regret not going there before the current events. My dream is still alive though. I live thru TH-cam watching beautiful walking videos of Moscow.
Oh man, breaks my heart hearing your story. Try to keep your options open and try to work towards your dreams. I sympathize. I grew up in a farming community where almost everyone was either 1st, 2nd or 3rd generation Polish. I didn't want to be Polish as there was still a considerable stigma associated with being a dumb Pollack. Long story short, I moved to eastern Europe 6 years ago. I am retired now and leaving the USA is the best thing I could have done. Does not matter if it is Russia or Poland or Slovakia, the fact is that 1/3 of all Americans are insane and Eastern Europe is still sane.
I can completely understand your feelings on this matter. I am born and raised American. Was a paratrooper, police officer …..exct….Lived the American dream. I went to Ukraine in 2016 and met and fell in love with the most amazing woman…I also fell in love with the culture and the people. To move this story fast forward, when my wife and I were planning on marriage,we had to make the decision of where are we going to live. I had decided I wanted to stay there for the exact reasons you were describing….I could walk down the streets of Zaporizhzhia and not worry…here in the states I was always looking over my shoulder. I remember making the mistake while we were in Kiev train station, I walked into the lobby to check schedule and I was carrying my cup of coffee….I did not make in halfway into the lobby and I was surrounded by the babushka train police.😂 They immediately escorted me to a trash can to dump my coffee and was tag teamed by them in being berated….one woman realized I was a foreigner….and she explained to me as best she could that they take great pride in the cleanliness of there terminal…and it was so clean. I remember also after a particularly hard storm , I went outside to sit on the bench in front of are apartment. I watched one of my neighbor babushka’s come out from the apartment building with a long stick and a piece of rope. She walked along and gathered straight sticks, then fastened them to the broom handle and began sweeping around our sidewalk leading to our building. These things, along with my wife’s family and friends changed my mind what truly a wealthy person has…love and respect. I pleaded with my wife to have us stay there, but she wanted to experience and try livings here….her transition has been difficult. Though now she lives in her own home, has a nice car….she now also very misses the same thing I had found in Ukraine. We are planning on returning, but for the circumstances now with the war…this is delayed. It breaks my heart to see both Slavic nations tearing each other apart. I do not blame Russia at all for this, for promises were made in 1991 that NATO would not expand to the borders of Russia, this promise has been broken. I wonder how Americans would react if China or Russia was involved in a civil war on our Mexican or Canadian border. One more story, my wife’s best friend’s brother Sergei served in the Ukrainian armed forces when it was still CCCP. He served from 1989-1993……same years I was a U.S. Paratrooper. We became best friends ! We sometimes would sit at his apartment having a few drinks and we would talk about our times in the military, and laugh at the propaganda that was fed to both of us…. My wife grew up during the CCCP…and though she hated communism, she said the people during that time were more kind and caring to one another…. In short, Good luck and may God guide you to happiness….
Just a very minor point. NATO did not 'expand' as you read in American media. Russia's western neighbors basically beat down the doors of NATO and the EU to apply.

To be honest, I'm American but I've been to Russia a couple times with my girlfriend and to me Russia feels more 'alive' and real. Not sure how to describe it. I mean I've had moments in Russia where just being driven in a car felt like a poetic experience. Guy in the countryside shows me his Lada car, It looks like its 40 years old and belongs in the junk yard but he said its somehow from 2005. I immediately notice an obviously deflated tire and feel confused but say nothing. We ride in the bumpiest shitty ride imaginable, The thing felt like it was falling apart while driving. It sounded like the engine could barely keep up. about 5 minutes later the tire goes flat to no surprise. He just says one word "problem" while smiling. We get out and he's still smiling and i offer to change the tire for him. I cut myself on my wrist and its bleeding while doing it and he says "like jesus" and we're laughing. To me that was the best car I ever rode in. The country side was very beautiful. This was in Suzdal, Vladimir For example, in America it's the opposite, everything is perfectly in order and efficient. The worst thing that can happen to an American is for their car to breakdown on the way to something. Everything in meaningless and empty in this zone in between the 'important' things in life. This is just a small example of what I mean, but I think it's everywhere if you notice it. Nobody knows how to live in America, not the way Russians do. On New Years Eve spending the time with a Russian family made me realize this. It's just a much different experience. The family is much closer and just hangs out for days. I think I've heard this comes from soviet times, but I don't know. And the gift giving feelings more genuine. Everything about Russia just feels more like who I am inside, because I like more soulful living than mechanistic. I also notice in russia a lack of care toward maintenance in general (unless it's from government, then it's the best). Like doors are left broken. It's strange from an American mind, where everything is maintained and smoothed over. Further, I've had thoughts that the Russian soul is feminine. The people are rather submissive, and tend toward chaos, which traits of the feminine. I have this feeling like in Russia, everything works just barely, like a car running on empty. But the government is the masculine figure which keeps order. You can't even stand next to a statue while smoking without police telling you to step away. And the quality of the Metro goes without saying. So there is this duality of extreme maintenance and order, and a lack of order that I find there. Anyway, those are my thoughts on Russia. I may have to move there to be with my girlfriend of 7 years who I havent seen since the war. Even though visiting Russia was the best time of my life, I don't really look forward to living there. But I don't know what choice I have anymore. BTW I am not Russian at all
Go in the Balkans than - Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Romania, Greece. The type of philosophy why we are living will cheer you up. Although some of the western toxicity is penetrating, it's still mild. We are living relatively poorly, especially comparable with US's extravaganza and this definitely have something to do with it. Also the region is so rich in history - so its kind of natural to be unconsciously introspective and have that spiritual spark.
Aleks, don't give up. You made a right decision. Yes, it was not easy for your parents to begin a life in US, and it's not easy to begin a life in any country. We immigrated in US in 1997 and plan to go back to Honeland. We have 3 grandchildren now. Our son-in-law is Dominican but he is agree we have to go out of here for future of our grandchildren. You know what's going on in US. God Bless you and your wife! Best of luck!
Если душа зовет - надо делать! Вы всё правильно сделали! Но переезд из другой страны это всегда больно и дорого))) Привыкнуть к новым условиям это еще надо постараться))) Всё у вас наладится так, что не переживайте)))

you know, Alex, I really really understand you! I'm not from Russia, but I do know russian, I have 2 jobs to to keep my ends meet, single mom of three. But I'm so pissed off of this crazy propaganda machine, that goes throughout of any aspects of your life, whether it's job, school, even getting groceries staying by register, it's insane, it's everywhere! I'm not thinking going back to my birthcountry, came to US at 28, had all my kiddos here, but oldest one shares same feeling with me. At least you've got to happiness, I'm happy for you and wishing you more happiness! Keep it up! And you're able to make it because of your amazing spouse, it's so important to have mutual understanding.
My wife is actually a pre-school teacher as well. Thank you for your kind message. This is exactly what this video about, finding your OWN happiness but taking the initiative to search for it instead of just complaining. Despite being out of my comfort zone, less financial security, a lot of unknowns, this is the happiest and move alive than i have ever been! At the end of the day this is my journey, for someone else happiness might be just changing a place of their employment or moving to some other country....not Russia. But you gotta act. You keep it up as well and nothing but happiness to you and your family! 🙏

LOL!
Always welcome to Russia
3 things:
1: There are countries that have the same values as Russia but none of the negatives, and russia has alot of negatives.

Russia looks like the new Beacon of Freedom and opportunity. If I were not in my 60's and in poor health I would consider a similar move. But I have a nice life and property in Hungary so I am staying here.
Hungary seems like a very desirable country. Hungary has a leader that cares about his country. In America, we have the opposite.

Smart move. Hungary is a good choice. Western Europe is doomed.
Omg! your story resonates with me so much.
I know we are all in different situations with different abilities but keep dreaming, visualizing, and start taking small steps towards your dream and your reality will manifest! Family values are important to Russians. Good decent people.
Hope all goes well for you. Subscribed.

This was in Suzdal, Vladimir
For example, in America it's the opposite, everything is perfectly in order and efficient.
Also the region is so rich in history - so its kind of natural to be unconsciously introspective and have that spiritual spark.
proud of you, i live in america 31 years, its absolutely NOT WHAT ,use to be

Glad that such a good person decided to move to Russia! Welcome home :)
I congratulate you finding a great life partner! Your wife being so supportive is such a great blessing!
You are a brave and smart guy! You really lucky with your wife. Greetings from Kazan, Tatarstan republic. Going to watch other clips)
Если душа зовет - надо делать! Вы всё правильно сделали! Но переезд из другой страны это всегда больно и дорого))) Привыкнуть к новым условиям это еще надо постараться))) Всё у вас наладится так, что не переживайте)))
Dude, I so get it. We did the same thing from New Zealand to here too. Almost 2 years now. It's hard but the problems are different and I am good with that.
you know, Alex, I really really understand you! You're being dispatcher had been feeling that, I'm a preschool teacher, feeling it every time at work, in my family, wherever I am.
So happy you found your way home, all the very best for you and your family😉
Respect to you!!!
Life is hard wherever you go. But if you follow your heart the path is sometimes easy. Sounds like you've found the path with heart (paging Castaneda). Congratulations and cheers!
Thanks for the story, as an American I respect the Russians greatly. At this point you could say im obsessed w/ Russia. Believe me i want to flee this shit show too. My dream is Russia, but a dream.
I've always wanted to find a Russian wife 🤷♂️ since i was young..
❤
teamo и "азбука верности" тебе в помощь 😊
Are you for real? I am an ethnic Russian living in the US. All I see around is American Russophobes. The majority of my American neighbors of many years are bullying me on a daily basis. Got to the point of nearly nervous breakdown. Feel like an animal chased by wolves in a forest.
@@ik1408 I'm so sorry, yes I'm for real. Im one of the few that know the truth about Russia. For me I started to learn in 2007, working/ volunteering for the Ron Paul prez campaign; they said we were Putin pawns - I'm like what?
So I looked into Putin, watched speeches & found everything my Gov. said about Putin & Russia was a lie! Then since the SMO peaked my intrest I've been learning more & more each day, & each & every day like Russia & Russians even more.
I'm so serious that I have a small Russian flag badge on my car to represent 🇷🇺💪.. & I'm not Russian, that I know of, but something's in me..
Actually I know quite a few ppl that have no issues with Russia out here in the rual midwest. Even my neighbor is totally cool and said I opened his eyes about Russia. I end up telling about everyone I have conversation with the truth about Russia.. My new boss, my landlord, whenever I get the opportunity. What our government is doing is absolutely disgusting and the atrocities in gaza just show it.

I came to Canada at the age of 11 but I never kinda… fit in. Ended up going back in my 20s which has now been over a decade. I’ve found it probably more difficult to integrate back than I did the first time. But my appreciation for it just keeps on growing
I wish you the peace that Russia and its people can give. Welcome brother!
LOVE your story! so honest
May God bless you and your wife in your happy family life in 🇷🇺Russia. Excellent decision when you finally found and pursued your true purpose in living your life. Have fun! 🌞💞🕊👏👏💪🕊🇷🇺💐🌞
Thank you so much, you understood the purpose of the video. In the end its just doing what makes you happy and gives you purpose.
Друг, ты же уже наверное понял, что такое русская душа, она позвала тебя. Здесь, в России твой дом, у вас все пооучится! 👍
Чувак еврей. О какой русской душе речь?
You are doing great! Keep making videos
You're not alone homie, I also live in Russia)
Thanks for telling us your expectations of Moscow beforehand. Many people visit s place and say "its not what I expected..."but we never knew what their expectations were in the first place.
This is a very interesting account, thank you.
I'm not Russian, I'm American born and raised.im a 39 year old black army veteran.19K.
My family has a long history of service from the marines like my father to army to navy and air force.
Even though I have never been to Russia or outside of the country which i should do at some point in time,i can empathize with you and others like you.I noticed since 2008 america changed,i didn't recognize it.
I'm formulating a plan and researching on different countries to move to because i want to pursue entrepreneurship.Serbia, Ireland, Georgia and Russia are all considerations.
I do have some Irish ancestry but it's nearly too far gone with illegal immigration there.
I'm considering Serbia because it allows dual citizenship.Russia and Georgia are on my list because of the relatively low cost of doing business and taxes, however i would have to renounce my us citizenship.
Im open minded with learning a new language and culture.i do respect whatever country's culture i end up going to and Russia from at least the videos from many others seems to be in line with my libertarian views of small government.
Btw i saw you on Wanted Visuals live and thank you for serving even if your stint was breif.we all have a yearning for being in a place where we belong.
Peace Mon Ami 😊
If I may ask why Serbia?
@@tanjasapatzvezda9723Serbs had a lot of Students from Africa study in Yugoslavia in a region that is now present day Serbia. Because of this, unlike most of Europe, Serbs are more accepting of dark-skinned people and less likely to be racist.
Serbia is also beautiful and its people very warm and welcoming. Very nice place.
Why would you need to renounce your US citizenship? There are no dual citizenship agreements between US and Russia, but both countries don't forbid second, third, whatever citizenship. I personally know several people who moved from Russia to US and now hold both citizenships without any problems
@@mrobocop1666 you can be a dual citizen of america.russia from what I understand doesn't.
You can hold multiple citizenships from different countries that allow dual and multiple citizenships.its not as uncommon as you might think
@@mrobocop1666 one thing you're not considering is that even if I moved to Belgrade for example,I'm still liable for US Federal taxes by Us law.if I renounce, I'm not obligated to pay that
Привет! Добро пожаловать домой) Ждем больше видео 👍😁
Bol'shoe spacibo!
