Your Bio intro could be mine :) Late 60's, involved in VR since the OG Quest. I have all 1, 2 and 3. I don't have the reflexes for the FPS games. I die a lot lol I do like Phantom Covert Ops because you're seated in a Kayak and nothing gets insane and the checkpoints are often so even if you die you don't have to start over too far back. If you haven't tried it, you should.
Very cool! Thanks for watching my videos. The difference between us is that I do not understand tech much. I never was on a computer until I was in my 40s and my wife introduced me to it. The Q2 and soon to be the Q3 are the latest tech for me since my Atari 2600 back in about 1977.
Thanks for this. I too have never played Football. I'm now 71 (and British) and received my Mea Quest 3 as a gift yesterday. I have a "Parkinsomism" and some games/apps may help with a lack of balance. If I steady myself standing up eg behind a sofa to just help with my balance a little - will this be doable do you think? Thanks. Go Hawks.
I'm no doctor but I would not suggest it. Standing is the best pay to play, and you will need good balance to play. You do have to move in reality, left/right to hand it off to one of your teammates for the run. Playing sitting down is extra hard for handing off the ball as well as seeing over the other players to be able to see downfield for who to pass to. You also do get tackled in the game and the sudden movement of the character may affect you. This may not be the game for you. Plus, there is always a lot of screaming, swearing and violent kids in the public area who have no problem attacking others. Sorry for the bad news.
I wondered about getting this game. Glad you reviewed it .
Actually, it's even better now. I bought the Defense DLC so not I play the Quarterback on Offense and a linebacker on defense.
Sorry about the audio, there are times the crowd is so loud that you are unable to hear me.
