That was very interesting James, I think your right about the engine head being from an old Triumph twin but as for the size of the engine difficult to know, they built them in various capacities 350, 500 and 650. Some nice old finds Sandy

I was around in the 70's wearing bell bottomed trousers with flower patches and nicking the pennies with the return button on old telephone boxes ; eating wrigleys chewing gum out of vending machines and enjoying the occasional packet of spangles . 50 years since last dug ; interesting. Where's the f........ word gone.
