    Gracias por el video la información. 👍
    No me he atrevido a volar mi FIMI X8 SE 2022 con amenaza de lluvia porque no sabia que tan seguro seria volarlo.
    Thanks for the video and information.
    I have not flown my FIMI X8 SE 2022 in the threat of rain, because I did not know how safe it would be to fly it with rain.

      no hay problema, gracias por mirar. Afirma que es a prueba de lluvia en su argumento de venta para este dron y creo que todos sus modelos x8se son algo a prueba de lluvia, pero los modelos más antiguos no son tan resistentes a la intemperie como la versión 2022.

    I took delivery of the Fimi TX10 controller 2 days ago. It is very good - 1000 nits screen, solid and well built. Somehow it gives my X8SE 2022 a greater range. I am very pleased with it.

    • @capeRCouple
      @capeRCouple  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i dont seem to have range issues with my 2022,i had mine out 1km with strong signal,my 2020 however has terrible range

    • @sligoquadcopter
      @sligoquadcopter 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@capeRCouple I don't have range issues either. But I tested both controllers today and with a fairly dense forest between me and the drone the standard controller loses signal whereas the TX10 maintains enough signal to stay off RTH. Fimi have done a good job with it.

      @@capeRCouple Is that the price for you - I think that is 377 Euros? For me it was 300 Euros from RC Going - perhaps I'm losing my sense of value for money because I thought that was ok LOL. Everything drone related seems to at a premium price these days 😮‍💨 My problem is that I have a natural hatred for using a phone with my drones - the lack of screen brightness and screen size ruin the experience for me. It is probably my age and less than optimum eyesight.

      @@sligoquadcopter yes the canadian dollar is pretty much worthless and costs me double what you guys pay for these items,its terrible and i wish i lived in your part of the world.I would have a lot more if i lived in another country...lol i also am using my phone for a fpv screen but im looking to get a ipad air 2 soon , hopefully

    I've put dabs of Corrosion Block on motors and battery connections. I make sure you run the engines up in a dry area after flying and wipe things down and then let it sit around to make sure any dampness is out of it beefore back into either the case or backpack for the drones.

    • @capeRCouple
      @capeRCouple  ปีที่แล้ว

      i make sure it's good and dry before being put away,it has only seen rain a couple of times since i had it

      @@TheItalianWays If you are around the ocean I highly suggest it. Then considering any moisture being prevented from working its way in to start corrosion it works great for that too.

    Good to know: I can delete rain in the UAV forecast as an exclusion criterion... - In the future I will feel even more secure with my Fimi

      just keep in mind your 2020 version can only handle light rain,the 2022 model is what i was flying and can handle moderate rain.The amount of weatherproofing on my model is a little more than the 2020 but you can still fly in light rain

    • @natonatter

      Thanks for the hint, Kevin, but beavy rain would be out of the question, since I want to see the drone in flight. (And because most of the time I'm on foot - but don't want to drown 😅)
