Finally it's now possible to adjust the exposure while the video is recording! This is something very important, mainly for sunset videos, for which the telephoto camera is a big plus. I know Fimi drones lacked the ability to change exposure in video recording, and I think I saw a video here of somebody testing a Fimi Mini 3, and was not able to change exposure when taking a video. Maybe Fimi fixed that limitation in a firmware update? Hope it has been fixed on the Mini 3 as well.
Nice flight, you can zoom with the app for a smooth zooming, tap 5x,10x,20x,30x,let the drone zoom itself, the dialing wheel is not smooth for zooming indeed, and it’s easy to set the EV accidentally. I think if you set the EV to default 0, the landing pad can be detected, it’s a little over-explosure when the EV is set to +1.3
I know it keeps getting switched accidentally while using the wheel.It would be nice if you could change the exposure from the wheel to other buttons so it doesn't interfear when trying to zoom with the wheel.I use the wheel as it is just easier and more convenient and is how most other decent drones zoom

@@capeRCouple honestly try not to fool the presision landing with a big yellow t shirt walking around landing pad and while I know you've said the V2 model finds that particular landing pad but just try the orange or blue because it's completely distinctive as the one you were using blends in the colour of the landing area .. Only when the drone sees the distinction does better with the pad .. I could plainly see it had trouble making that distinction due to the colour ...the landing pad was camouflaged ..!! No big deal.. I've had the mini 3 think my beanie was the landing pad infact that finds its own landing pads when IAM not using any .. I don't mind when the drone wants to land on my head ! Reminds of a bird returning to its nest ..!! Hehe
Nice video. I got a Q- when you go to zoom with scroll wheel, do you hold "B" or "A" ? I know you said hold "B". was just checkin owners manual online and it indicated to hold "A". just checking.
okay, here the zooming is working during the flight (!) and landing on point must be trained further. But it is not so severe, I always change to manual flight for a better place because I don't use the landing pad in each case.
Yes zoom works while in 4k30,my dumb ass should have known better that everything wasn't going to work while in its highest resolution on my first flight with it.

Well glad this camera for you looks good while there pro model looks like cartoons .. Can we rip this camera out and put it in the other model before I chop it of .. It sucks to have one model with great range and a cartoon camera while this comes with less range but a better camera .. Anyway the proof is in the pooding if it translates good on your big screen or on computer .. Ready to chop the fimi pro camera of .!
Unfortunately once you've tasted usable range and I mean mavik 3 or air 3 and coming very close x8 pro with it's Frankenstein camera 😢 you never want to go backwards again.. The zoom function on the tele is your extra distance ...😅 I suppose if they came up with 1000 times clear zoom with 2 kilometre range you wouldn't have to worry at all about flying far anyways .. hehe ..zoom becomes your distance ...

You can always adjust the EV when recording with any fimi drones.

Circular landing pad I use but low light not great to find pad I will test both of mine and the old 22 also for the pad see what happens

Yes the tele pro has the same camera,only difference is the pro has 3 way obstacle avoidance
Recording at 4K 30 FPS with the Telephoto lens is good news. It's a great drone. I have the 2022 V2 version it's flawless.
It is so much better than the 2022 and the tele lens is amazing

Its the button on the backside on the left of the controller,i it may be the a button but i thought it was lettered b
that`s right it is B which makes sense. left finger to hold button, right finger to scroll.

When you stand on the pad when the drone is trying to land you confuse it. Get back out of the way when landing
wasn't standing on the pad and nowhere near it,i found out it doesn't like these square pads and lands on the round ones no problem
The landing pad is yellow, the T-shirt is yellow.... ofc drone got confused where to land
Im leaning more toward the lighting as it was nearing dusk and testing again in better daylight it hit the pad.

I have the air 2 and its range is great also but i can't fly any farther than say 500m here anyways legally.
So does it also take the 4 s battery ..
