The one thing that is great about having so many irons in the fire is that even when some things are stalled, others may fail, chances are there is always good news to be had somewhere in the mix. This last week was not the greatest with Apple recovering from surgery but we sure did receive some excellent news....our Nan beauty ratsnake eggs have hatched and we now have produced the first captive bred. This is actually pretty big news for the hobby because captive bred snakes now have a chance at taking a foothold. Thanks for watching!!!

Question, I always wanted to know if it was possible to cross a beauty snake with a false water cobra?

it might be possible but while I am trying to get beauty rats pure again with WC, doing some whacky cross like that goes many steps backwards so it definitely isn't anything that I would be doing. We have some rare FWC bloodlines from UK and we aren't even interested in crossing those to USA bloodlines, let alone jump to hybrids.

Hey I love your show I find you thru CIA reptiles I’m American I stay in New Orleans for now I’m looking for granite most beautiful yellow anaconda my favorite they the cutest let me know if they are available again man I love your work I’m between selling my house and moving out of state to Thailand or the Philippines In the future Dm exotic I love your work I wish I could work with you to know more about snakes you keep it very positive and educational about snakes I lstarted loving anaconda from a dude name brain barczyk a long time ago but he caught cancer like my mom did all around the same time at that time I never thought they had so many types of anaconda’s until now but love your show hint me back Dm Exotic ✌️

My cousin raises button quail .... they are about the size of a small mouse with wings lol .... my ball python loves them and has been eating them for months

We raise button quail in our facility in Malaysia and they are excellent for getting all of our special colubrids started. The ones that are more specialized readily take the farmed bullfrog froglets at the size where they look like little frogs but still have a tail. The problem with anything that you intend to sell is that if you condition them to only take quail, your customers are likely to have issues if they are not raising quail themselves. Any species that is fine with a rodent diet we try to switch to rodents as soon as possible. Everything else we do a varied diet.

Beautiful Snakes! Interesting to see the vet check being carried out. Great to see another species of Snake that will be making it's way into the hobby. I wonder how long it will take them to get to here (UK). Not long ago I thought we had no Ptyas carinata but then my local Reptile shop C and T Exotics had a pair in their personal collection that showed me. They purchased them from Crystal Palace Reptiles in London. They obviously must have come from D M Exotics.

No they didn't come from me. Once exporters and importers realized that there was money to be made with a species they were not aware of, it put carinata on the table.
