sad that er hu music is so rarely recommended on youtube because most of the music is generalised under "Beautiful chinese music". When i find rare gems such as this, the feeling of ecstasy is priceless
I was reading an online Manhua and it had a note at the bottom of one of the panels (it was a guy facing a career crisis under a spotlight). The note read: *BGM: The Moon Over a Fountain. I’m a huge gamer and I’m also a musician so I’ve always had a curiosity for background music that I either don’t know the name of or have just never heard of in the first place. These are the kinds of pieces that are such underrated jewels outside of their source that absatively posolutely need to be put out there. Absolutely beautiful!
So beautiful! I always find that the erhu captures some deep passion that I want to accomplish in my art- I am a classical violinist. Of course, it helps when the erhu player is as great as this musician!
I feel like it applies to almost all (East) Asian instruments. I specialise in zithers personally, the different types carry different personalities. Suona and tanggu carry a special power in them, and huqin a deep passion as you said.

Finding Guqin music is equally as hard for me as finding Erhu music.
The dedication and skill of Weiwei Wuu has brought great honour to the ehru... It has been a great pleasure for me to listen ...thank you...
My first exposure to a performance of the instrument and [long pause] wow. I welled up because emotions. What a performance. Just, wow.
Love the sound of erquan erhu. So much soul and purity

I personally play. How is that thing tuned? Is it a and d one step lower?
Can I use a sample of this?
Would've been heaps better if there was no Western piano playing in the background.
It says “solo” but there is a piano there the entire time.
there can be an instrument playing rhythm behind a solo..
😭😭🥹🥹🥰🥰🥰
I like the Mongolian Morin Huur sound better
MeToo ❤
Nap time
I loved it before the cheesy piano chords started accompanying. The opening 45 seconds was just sublime.
