What if Batman Villains Were in Dungeons and Dragons? (Stories and Speedpaints)

- Batman and Spider-man have the best rogues galleries in comics. And seeing as how I recently did an episode drawing and making stories for Spider-man Villains in the Star Wars universe, I figured an appropriate parallel would be taking iconic Batman villains and doing some speed paints of them in Dungeons and Dragons.
So today I'm illustrating an evil reborn Jester from the Joker, a vengeful druid from Poison Ivy, an Ice Wizard from Mr. Freeze, and a brutal half-orc from Bane. As often is the case, there may have been better D&D character equivalents for these villains, so let me know what you would have done!
So enjoy this story and speedpaint episode and leave suggestions for what other kind of franchise swapping stuff you want to see on PopCross Studios!

Y’know, according to DC, one world’s fact is another world’s fiction, so this world’s probably out there in the multiverse somewhere.
My favorite part is that you incorporate a story behind each piece, even pulling from the originals when you do well known characters. Always entertaining and interesting when you do the videos, so thanks for making them!

Before seeing it my first thought was "the penguin is a druid who can turn into a penguin
I would like to see videos with other types of Marvel characters like; Ghost Rider, Man-Wolf, Venom, Deadpool, etc. (😱A Ghost Rider Sith Lord!)

@@PopCross For the Ghost Rider Sith Lord idea, his main weapon is like a whip, but instead of the main part of the whip being made of leather, it’s a chain. Also, it glows like the red lightsaber. Now I’m tempted to draw this idea.
Ghost Rider would be an intelligent lava zombie from Mustafar

I can totally imagine Mr. Freeze and Flash's Captain Cold as Ice Mages, even though it's kind of on the nose.
I also imagine Victor using his freeze tech to help blacksmiths, somehow

Scarecrow just has to be a kenku, just to play on the whole "scarecrow" astetic
Scarecrow: a warlock with a crow patron that gets it powers off fear
Killer croc: a barbarian with a crocodile totem that he gets his powers from
Harley Quinn: a fighter or warlock and her patron would be the joker( multiple reasons how)
Clayface:A druid that instead of changing into animals he can change his body parts into weapons or change his appearances into other peoples'

Deathstroke: A Knight Who Fell Under A Witch’s Spell Giving Him The Powers Of Regeneration But For The Complete Potion He Had To Take His Own Eye Out

Yes! I love how you incoperated the Falcone-Maroni war and made it a fantasy version. The Long Halloween is my favourite comic book and its great how were able to change the story like that. Also, incredible artwork!

Now that you have done Batman’s villains why don’t you do the “Bat Family” as it’s called. You know, Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood. I see Batman’s costume being Tiefling themed. Another idea is to do a D&D interpretation of Batman’s lesser known villains like, Ratcatcher. Best of luck to you, and out of all your themed videos, your D&D videos will always be my favorite ones. Keep up the good work.

More batman DnD in general like the 'Dark Knight' or some other villains (Catwoman or Riddler) or some sidekicks like Nightwing , Red Hood , robin ,or Batgirl those are some characters that I would love to see you do if you do more of Batman characters in DnD

Love the jokers backstory. I like how you brought in elements from Batman: the animated series as well as michael Keaton's batman and Christopher nolan's batman
I really hope you make the Bat Family as D&D characters to deal with all these great D&D villains! I can imagine Batman as an Oath of Vengeance Paladin. Other members of the Bat family could be Rogues and Fighters, with Oracle possibly being a Diviner Wizard or a Cleric of the Knowledge Domain.

I can see so many possibilities for other Gotham rogues to be in D&D. Scarecrow using vast knowledge of illusions and enchantments to concentrate and weaponize fear, Killer Croc being a deformed Dragonborn who spent his life in the circus, Penguin being a powerful mob boss who's only true company were the penguins in his massive tavern The Iceberg Lounge, Harley Quinn being a former cleric who wanted to take down or cure the Joker only to fall for his charisma and join his side, almost denouncing her god, the whole Batman setting is perfect for D&D!
