Helluva Boss and Hazbin is such a huge step up in adult animation compared to the era before it of Family Guy and Simpsons, and yet people still call it childish and complain about swearing. She's setting standards here people, would you prefer to go back to Family Guy?
Me personally I don't like that Helluva boss swears in every sentence but other than that it's pretty good not counting the sexual part because I'm not really into that kind of stuff.

Constructive criticism about Vizviepop's work in Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel is fine, but hateful and unnecessarily nasty comments are not. Saying that Vizviepop is a talentless writer and that she sucks is NOT okay! You can think that some storylines in Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel are rushed (for whatever reason), that several character designs aren't your cup of tea, that many characters need to be more developed, etc. Those can all be valid opinions/criticisms to have. The only issue is when people are bigots about it.
Exactly, not everyone is expected to like the same thing. What a lot of people these days don't understand is just because you don't like something, doesn't mean everyone should not like it either.

You’re 100% right this is somehow an unpopular opinion but sometimes things ARENT meant for you and you shouldn’t expect them to cater to you. You’re here because you like what someone else made. If it’s not your thing it’s not your thing. Simple as. And you not personally liking something isn’t valid criticism. I hate the way these indie projects that the community begged so much for got torn to shreds even before all that stuff about vivzie came out. All that stuff was just the justification but people had already made their minds up about the series
Exactly!! I don’t like sitcoms, but I don’t go out of my way to tell everyone the show they like sucks just because I don’t like the genre. I’ve had people tell me they hate HB/HH, only to follow it up with “because Vivziepop sucks and also I hate music in shows”. So.. you don’t like musicals. That’s actually totally fine! Just don’t tell me that you think the show I love is horrible just because it belongs to a genre that isn’t for you.
The problem has more to do with the intrinsic toxicity of many fandoms than the show itself. Once you start using something as, let's say, a supplemental personality trait, rather than appreciating it on its own terms you start to feel like if there's something "wrong" with the media, there's something "wrong" with you. That piece of media somewhat defines you so if it goes in a direction you don't like you feel personally attacked. There's also something to say about the kind of person that uses media to supplement their personality (or lack thereof) in general as well. Typically the people who identify so hard with something they end up using it to at least partially define who they are, are doing so because there's a problem. A "hole" of sorts inside of them that they use the media to fill. That's just an unhealthy dynamic in general and can lead to a lot of unhinged behavior. Try to remember that shows, music, etc are a part of the creator, not a part of you. You're just a consumer of what a particular person creates and you're not going to agree with every direction they go. It would be pretty boring if they adhered to some arbitrary set of rules as to not stir up the most toxic elements of their fan base anyway. Basically, just chill tf out and try to enjoy stuff and be disappointed if stuff you like starts going somewhere you don't like, but don't act like you've been betrayed or personally attacked. It has nothing to do with you, you're not why the creator makes art you're just along for the ride. The creator owes you nothing. I don't like when a creator ends up feeling pigeon holed due to the expectations of their fanbase. An artist should be free to express themselves, not have to try to express what an amorphous online army wants expressed all of the time, forever, or else death threats.
This all boils down to people not managing their expectations, and feeling entitled to being spoon-fed the exact content they want. I want to ask them how a creative team is supposed to please thousands of people with expectations they have no way of knowing until the episide drops.
Yeah that's practically one of the main reasons why people are hateful towards Viv, it isn't how THEY visioned it, so they gotta resort to harassment and slander. Like a certain someone I won't name who ended up as one of her most notorious haters because Striker x Blitzo never became canon.
People royally need to get over themselves the phrase “a show for everyone is a show for no one” is so true, has no one watched the into the panderverse special
I definitely think some people are waaaaaaaaay too 'protective' or 'passionate' over certain characters. For example, I liked Striker originally, but didn't care for the direction he took in Western Energy, finding it too corny for my my taste. I'm also not a fan of Stoliz, but oh my goodness, the swords people are willing to die on! I do miss a lot of the tone of season one, I can admit that. I'm probably in the minority on that.
@@jocelynsmyth6604 I agree it feels like season 2 is putting more focus on comedy than drama, not to say certain moments aren’t dramatic but some of it doesn’t feel right tone wise
I think most people forget that Viv is a human being too, I feel most of it is out of jealously, they're jealous that someone's work has gained a huge following, they're jealous that she got successful but hey that's just what I think.
This fandom has some of the most entitled “fans” I’ve ever seen. Like they are owed something and want the creator to do what they want “or else”. And it’s gross. Like, they shouldn’t determine the trajectory of what VP’s story is or where it goes.
What I hate the most is how people hate something for the dumbest reason, they don’t hate it because it’s bad but because they only are able to see default and honestly I think they hate it just because they find it « too popular »,a lot of people are pissed off when something they find mid is popular
(off topic from the video) When I was younger, I did see the 'Die Young' animation, and I never knew it was made by viv. I loved it when I was young, and I still am a huge fan of her works. I honestly find this funny, because I've only been a true fan of viv for about 1 or 2 years.
All I can really say is that Vivziepop is an amazing artist and storyteller and she deserves everything she’s worked for! I tip my hat to her and view her as an inspiration!
There have been so many people that have "cried wolf" with the show that I kinda hate the fact I likely won't give real problems that may come up the time of day because I just don't care anymore and ignore every nontroversy.
I love Beelzebub because to me she represents all the joy and inspiration Viv's creations gave to me, because I was one of the old fans that met her work (I also met Kesha) through the die young fan animated music video, and seeing her accomplish so much makes happy for her but also gave me hope in myself, she started with SpeedPaints on TH-cam and look where she is now! I can also do that
Well shame for those haters! Vizziepop is an excellent animator that makes such amazing and awesome adult cartoons. Those haters will get what's coming for them.
I don’t like Family Guy. At all. But I’m not doxxing, dragging, and slandering Seth MacFarlane on social media. I don’t yell from the rooftops how anyone who likes Family Guy should “make themselves ghosts” because I personally find it annoying. I don’t rally strangers online against Seth Green because he’s a voice in the show I don’t like. I just.. Don’t interact with Family Guy content. I see it on my timeline/fyp/recommended and scroll past it. And I don’t understand why other people don’t do the same. Maybe I’m just too old (24yo) to understand the younger, current generation of fandom and its inherent toxicity that previously was less widespread. There have always been haters, but it feels… Worse… now. It’s not infighting like Harry Potter or dangerously dissatisfied fans like Voltron, it’s fans vs nonfans all the time. And this influx of nonfans interacting with content they clearly don’t like is hard for me to understand.
It goes against their message. Disney says ppl are hating their trash because they are homophobic, racist bigots. Then why are people living shows like Boss that is full of LGBT? Because these good shows have character and depth. Characters learn they aren't perfect and grow. While bigger producers make Mary sues and dogsht stories that make no sense or actively destroy the canon of the ip they are in. So if ppl like this but hate their garbage then the blame must fall on themselves via logic. This is something they will never stand for or allow to be .
That's ridiculous many people hate Vizipop for dumb reasons and I think the animation of Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are good. Shout out to Vizipop, your awesome girl you the animators and actors your all awesome.
I LOVE seeing all the work that goes in to these shows! I've written stories since I was little, on my own and with friends. I'm not an art artist, but I know many people who are. It means SO much to hear and share praise! So much to share inspiration and love and growth and feel appreciation! So Viv, if you ever stop by and see this, WE LOVE YOU AND THANK YOU! Your characters and stories have touched so many people, and even outside of it directly, given us a lot to talk about in communities and learn how to love and support each other more/again! Also thank you, CU, for your videos and your time and thoughts on all of this!
HH and HB are better than most adult shows which are just family guy clones. Most of the hate for this show and viv in general I believe is just pure jealousy and envy(no pun intended) and spite, probably because they didn't come up with her ideas first, all they're doing is digging up info about viv from 10 or so years ago just to try and make people stop watching her stuff. All they do is blow hot air and just whine about every single small thing in the shows, "everything is too red!" "Stolas is a 🍇 and Stella is justified in abusing him!" "Viv hired someone with a fetish!" "This show should've stayed in deviantart" Someone even tried to dox viv on twitter. All it is is just pure jealousy and no criticism in sight, ESPECIALLY on Twitter. That being said, viv has flaws sure. But we all have flaws, it makes us human. But it seems the people trying to bring viv down just don't see her as human.
The excuses ive heard is that vivziepop has done bad things? But i dont really know what they are talking about and when asking for evidence they get quiet and tell me to just search it up. Believing something in the internet wont help, and if she DID do it then it was like years ago? People change. And for the people who just hate the shows bc of "brainrot" is immature. They havent even seen the show so why would they have the right to judge it?
there are plenty of videos breaking down her supposed bad things, but they're all just complaints about minor personal issues, affiliations, attempts to connect with others even with HER being attacked for supporting others, but not those people she just wanted to show even just a tiny bit of support to.
Of course there's going to be a lot of haters of Vivziepop especially with her shows and other projects. Heck I bet some people say that Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss offended Religious People and the Christians. What? That's just a load of rubbish and some people even hated the art style for no reason. Look I respect people's opinions, but if they are going harass Vivziepop and her projects, then they should get a life that doesn't involve harassing her and her work. All of the haters is like Arick Burnz from Mammon's Magnificent Musical Mid-Season Special all over again.😑

It seems to always amaze me how and/or why people like to complain about stuff like this. I personally enjoy Helluva Boss because of the uniqueness that it has to offer. Now, while I unfortunately can't afford to support the show on its merch, since I'm a college freshman majoring in digital arts, I'm glad that stuff like this exists in the first place. People like myself do hope to get into that industry someday as, at least for me, expressing myself through art brings me joy since in a way I'm putting a piece of myself and my intrest out there like Viv and other artists. Plus, in my opinion, when sharing my art, I like to bring a glimmer of joy to those who see it since currently working part-time in retail is tough so my art is a way to bring that goodness to the world.
Twitter is a terrible place they even bullied Kit Conner (From Heartstopper) into coming out of the closet. Mind you he was 17 not even 18! Twitter followers harassed nonstop just because he had girlfriend and they called him a “white entitled and a rich prick” just because she was a successful actor in one Netflix show. Mind you Kit has always been a good person online and offline. He never did anything at all to warrant any hate. He was just doing his job as an actor and living his own life as a teen. He just shared that he was dating someone and some people went apeshit for no reason 😑
The shows of helluva boss and hazbin hotel their art styles fascinate me and it was awesome seeing that traditional 2D animated still runs and lives on unlike others studios they make 3-D but not this one
Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are unique stories that aren't afraid to experiment. We need that now more then ever to show studios that originality can be a success. I am looking forward to seeing what projects these shows inspire in the future.
Well constractive criticisum still should be welcomed. That can help both the show, and the people inspaird by it. I like the show (it's compliceted), but it sertently has some big flaws. It doasn't justafy harrasment, but I have seen a lot of good feith criticisum being called hating. "Should have done more research" is a pretty good one for exemple of a good criticisum. @@Alexandraadftxr7052 I am not saying we shouldn't give constructive criticism, no show is perfect there is always room to improve. what I am saying is most of the big players like Disney and Universal have become afraid to take chances and experiment because they don't think it will sell. I am hoping that Hazbin, Helluva and other unique project will show these companies that original ideas can be worth pursuing, they can be success and make money.
@@embermoto the sad thing is. Projects like that alone can't show this to big studios. For that a really big loss of revenou has to happan. I don't really think TH-cam animation will be the thing that will show it to them. It will be something that has to do with feature leinght movies.
And an artist and Vivziepop's stylle not being mine. Ill say this, i really do like the concept of her drawings. Its raw, its cool, a bit childish but hey thats fine. Better than other animlistic shows ive see. Like Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are a better artstyle than say Steven Universe or Ben 10 (i like all three of those shows so no hate). I just say let the haters talk all the trash they want some episodes of projects can be hit or miss but in the end, Viv, the VA's and the Spindlehorse crew are loved by the fans who appreciate their great work.
Yeah, even though it has some writing issues, the crew deserves respect. It also should not be held to the standard to complete perfection, as it’s better than most Netflix shows already and it’s completely free
Vivziepop has a unique art style...while it may be unfitting it times it reminds me alot of those cartoon network shows from the 2010s and i kinda get nostalgic everytime i see it for that said reason
@JustMiaMakingStuff With her series and art, Vizviepop defied the status quo of how animation as a whole should be made. And, honestly, after all the awful live action remakes and sequels that Disney has made for the past few years, Vizviepop's 2 series are just what I needed.
Imo because her show is popular she like other very popular people are held to a super high standard of being always 'good' and never saying or doing anything morally wrong. OR People hate the show and thus need a reason to hate Viv.
I like beelzebub since she was first on screen in the episode maybe I'm simple but I really like beezebub so yea I am a guy who likes her also patreon sounds like a great idea to help those you like while also not knowing what your going to get from it like a prize draw which is really cool and exciting
My biggest complaint is that the story repeats itself character development is reused alot the show is becoming edgy , the humor is ok character design is fantastic but the kicker is it feels like something that can so much more develop 4 seasons is perfect but the writing feels like a concept not the final product that’s why dropped the series
People have no idea how hard it is to create complex fiction. They rather focus on destroying, which is bloody easy in comparison. Yes, constructive critique is fine but you need to wait until the product is kinda...you know..finished? HH and HB is such a surge in quality in comparison to the formulated, cookie-cutter animation bullshit from the past thirty years of coorperate hell.
I was 13 when I was introduced to the Hazbin pilot by my friend of the same age in art class. All he told me was “there’s a lot of swearing”, which was and is the case for like 95% of TH-cam videos, so I didn’t give it much regard. Keep in mind, fully fleshed out TV shows made for TH-cam, albeit one episode, weren’t really a thing at the time, and the premise intrigued me. So 13-year old me decided to give it a watch and was instantly hooked! Was I too young to watch it? Absolutely. But again, it’s not like TH-cam is this super child-friendly website to begin with so I didn’t think much of it. I know I’m rambling, but I find it kinda funny. I am totally obsessed with Hazbin and Helluva, but I don’t think I would be nearly as into it if I was introduced to it today. I may not even watch it. I think the fact that I was able to grow with the series really contributed to my enjoyment of it.
I mean the only reason I didn’t like Hazbin hotel is one after the other episodes with plot, plot, and more plot. I would have absolutely loved it if instead of 2 minutes of the gang hanging out that was a full Length episode and we got to see one on one connections between the crew except for these specs if the dynamics. That is my only criticism but still both are good shows with their flaws and shines. Both accessible on TH-cam or Main Media and they’re wonderful.
I love Hazbin hotels because it physiotherapy of redemption and a second chance of a new life connected with me and I can see a new future for people who have done bad things but do deserve a good life and for helluva boss I love it because party gives me a new meaning of fun and the relationship of the character is so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time that is beautiful and a party of beautiful animation in short I love vivzepop she not perfect but she is a truly amazing woman and artist in my eyes and her shows and characters make me feel better and happier every time they on screen she should not be hated to be in the middle ground of Twitter hated festivals and the world should known her🕊️😂❤️😁🙏😊😍👍🥰
The haters are usually the older generation my parents hate it when I sing Hazbin Hotel songs 😒 but the young haters are even worse because they tweet and comment these wild accusations about viziepop 😂
While there are some things I really dislike about vizipop, it’s so ridiculous and stupid to see people accuse her of being pro-Russia, a Zionist and yet also antisemitic for some reason, and a misogynist. It’s so dumb
Its corny, its old, but statement stands true... they are extremely jealous. Its really sad how many people have developed such a strong " main character" syndrome that they feel entitled to verbally abuse hard working people for succeeding in an area they couldn't.
There might be characters I don’t like ( not gonna get into that ) but lots of characters I also love & actors I know and r don’t know , love they work they put into their characters !!!
HH and HB are the best. I loved when I saw Kesha in the show cause that Die Young video was when I found Vivzepop. And her design was better than what I had in mind❤ Viv is doing great in my opinion
I’m starting to get tired to see the same type of review with the same titles every time a new episode of HB drops: “everything wrong with the new HB episode”, “things I hate about the new episode of HB”, “the flaws of the new episode of HB”, “the Millie/Moxxie/Blitzø/Stolas/Loona problem”, “the new episode of HB is awful” and so on… and each time these videos are always produced by the same creators. I’m starting to think that maybe HB and HH is not made for you to enjoy, I think you should consider the fact you are obsessing over a show you hate just for the satisfaction of throwing s*ht at it every time a new episode comes out, a show that you watch religiously even though you have had enough clues that maybe, just maybe, it’s not your thing. Constructive criticism is always valid but at this point it’s just hating for the sake of hate.
In my opinion, people don't like mixing things in one episode that make you feel emotional strange and blocking, like Stolas and Blitzo having a hard time and suddenly we have a fight with Chrubains and others. I know its artist but they shuld know why when its is moment for emotions and space for comedy. I grew up watching animations and I have never felt such strange embarrassment when a sad moment suddenly has scenes full of fighting and humor mixed with it.
I honestly feel like its one of the few things that works better as a comic and wish she'd make that a patreon exclusive or something! The appeal of Zoophobia was that she created such a large elaborate world with so many characters, and that's so hard to pull off in animation. She does it so well with the hellaverse, but zoophobia was built off of every single chapter just transitioning in and out of different stories, and I hope in whatever form it takes we get to see that large picture of its world.
I started to understand what OG fans of this creator meant by unnecessary hatred. Last month (May) it was a viral (in terms of Twittersphere) tweet that quoted a theory by an interviewer who asked Viz about a 'second hell', Viz gave NO ANSWER to the question but you wouldn't know that based on the tweets! There were essay long tweets about this woman's very existance as a human being! It was absolutely ridiculous and I thought I was crazy.
There’s been some real criticism about some weird stuff like how they talk about trans men specifically that im not happy about but like spoiler alert there’s probably way worse people working on big name cartoons that you don’t even know about. I’m more concerned about people talking about how some spindle horse animators don’t get paid enough and that all the og voice actors getting snubbed never had enough of a reason behind it:
Yeah I was expecting Beelzebub to be a humanoid fat bee or something like that yet we got a slim really bubbly social butterfly (ironic I know) bug hell hound fusion and that’s not a bad thing because bee is my favourite helluva boss character even now and her song “cotton candy” is one of my favourite songs

How ever i can say that Viziepops hit show hazbin hotel was made for passion and the people and not for Viziepop to get a higher paying job
In conclusion, my example sucked lol
People really dont know what they have. Helluva Boss and Hazbin is such a huge step up in adult animation compared to the era before it of Family Guy and Simpsons, and yet people still call it childish and complain about swearing. She's setting standards here people, would you prefer to go back to Family Guy?
Both Helluva boss and Hazbin hotel are way better then that no good family guy

Losing the will to live vs ill miss the next episode of helluva boss or hazbin hotel
To sum it all up, basically...
VivziePop: "I'm gonna try my hardest to make my dream cartoons a reality."
Twitter: "I took that personally, I'm offended, and I hate you!"
yup, haters get mad at Vivziepop because she made what SHE wants and they can't see past themselves.

And that makes you better than most people on Twitter.

Headcannon: Pringle, the imp that serves Stolas present day, is the son of the old imp butler that Stolas had as a child we see in the flashback
An artist should be free to express themselves, not have to try to express what an amorphous online army wants expressed all of the time, forever, or else death threats.
beautifully stated.
@@DarrellMcKrell could you show people being slanderous to viziepop?

I definitely think some people are waaaaaaaaay too 'protective' or 'passionate' over certain characters. For example, I liked Striker originally, but didn't care for the direction he took in Western Energy, finding it too corny for my my taste.
I, for one, like this art style.
Hates always have to hate something. I hate haters

Those who don't have flaws are not at all human but hateful monsters who attack those who are humans with flaws and have common sense

With her series and art, Vizviepop defied the status quo of how animation as a whole should be made.
And, honestly, after all the awful live action remakes and sequels that Disney has made for the past few years, Vizviepop's 2 series are just what I needed.
Imo because her show is popular she like other very popular people are held to a super high standard of being always 'good' and never saying or doing anything morally wrong.

18:18 lmao, the guy who introduced me to the Hellaverse is 13😂
I was 13 when I was introduced to the Hazbin pilot by my friend of the same age in art class.
That's when I started watching it, so about 1-2 years ago.
Don't forget the copious amounts of people redesigning Viv's characters, which is perfectly fine in the most part. Regardless, they're so many
I mean the only reason I didn’t like Hazbin hotel is one after the other episodes with plot, plot, and more plot.

HH and HB are the best. I loved when I saw Kesha in the show cause that Die Young video was when I found Vivzepop. And her design was better than what I had in mind❤ Viv is doing great in my opinion
I feel bad for the animators of Beelzebub.
Fans when the pilot was on youtube: this is the greatest anything there has ever been
Fans when Vivzie got corprate backing: its popular now it suck
1:06 Honestly, I'd LOVE ta see Zoophobia as an animated series itself...But Viv's got enough on her plate as is...
When they hate ya cause they ain't ya.
Her early stuff (The Kesha video) animation style almost looks like John K's style.
The slim part isn’t really that because fast metabolism does in fact exist
