Genius! Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, you show how to make custom tiles using trapezoids! Love your video, and now I’m going to delve into my copy of your book. 😊 Muskoka ON 🇨🇦
OMgoodness! I have so admired mini quilting, especially mosaics, and never imagined that I could do it. With your brilliant tutorial and you calm way of teaching I am ready to start my first ever mosaic quilt. Thank you so much.
I’ve recently decided to devote time to making mini quilts. This is this first time I’ve seen this technique! It’s a brilliant approach, and I’ll be trying it soon. Thanks!
Awesome 👌 well done. Never seen anything like this. Great presentation. Your camera is exactly in correct position. So easy to see AND definitely this technique will be added high on my 'to do' list. ❤
Just downloaded the ebook version of mini quilts and can't wait to get started. Your videos are awesome. You are a great teacher. First saw you on the Quilt Show and I just subscribed to your channel. Again, Thank you.
Very useful, thank you! I was wondering how those tiny HST's and QST's are made and sewn together! I've learned more from this 30-minute video than watching hours and hours of other videos on YT!
First, I have to tell you I LOVE your videos and creativity! Second, I just want to squeeeeeeeeeze you! LOL You're so sweet and easy to listen to...like relaxation music! Subscribed and bell rang! Please keep videos coming!! Thank you for your time!
I absolutely love little pieces, this technique is different and really solves my issue of the small pieces getting sucked down into my machine...thanks for the video and for sharing this technique...
As if there weren't so many things about these minis to rave about already, there is another point to make (no pun intended). I can see that there would be absolutely NO problem with matching points. Your's are perfect. Thank you so much, Paula. I wish you all the best and much success!! (P.S. I've subscribed!)
I LOVE miniature quilts and I found this tutorial to be fascinating! I'm busy trying to put my fabrics together now! Thank you for the tutorial. I'll be watching for more.
You just popped up on my TH-cam and of course, I was attracted to your scene name, *greenmountainquilts* , of which I grew up in the shadow of the Green Mountains (Vermont). Anything that has Green Mountain (or anything Vermont) in its name grabs my attention!: I drink Green Mountain Dark Magic Dark Roast coffee, Lake Champlain Chocolates, purchase Ferguson Farm Maple Syrup (grew up in their original sugar barn)--anything Vermont, including, "The Country Store!" I'm sure you're familiar with all listed above. I'm glad I found your site--am enjoying your instruction on this Mini Mosaic Quilt! Thank you! And, I will be watching all your videos! 💌❤❤🩹💓💞💚💜!
Absolutely fabulous, your work is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this technique, I started a mini quilt a while back and never thought of interfacing (new sewer) I enjoyed this tutorial a lot🌸
Hi again. I am watching you again and I love this as much as I did the other couple of times. Your book will be here tomorrow and I can get busy. Thanks, you are a great teacher and I hope you have lots more tutorials. 😊😊
Fabulous presentation. Clear and concise instructions. Ordered your book and subscribed to your channel, wish you had more tutorials. Looking forward to viewing your book and making mini quilts.
Are the patterns with the grids still available. This is what I have wanted to do to use the finished quilts as wall art in my home. Also June Taylor cutting ruler seems to make them much easier to cut.
I have never seen anything like this! Incredible & exciting!! What stitch length do you use? Do you ever have to trim the seam allowance after you’ve sewn because of the bulk? I really enjoyed your tutorial ~ your voice and style of teaching is very relaxing and calming. So thankful for discovering this today. Thank you very much!!
Have you seen the "sew both sides," of strip sets, and cut 45 degrees changing the lean after each patch. You will stop wasting "half" of your fabric for half triangles. That was so wasteful, and the next ones are even worse. This is obviously not for me. You do have lovely ideas though, and the interfacing holding pieces is a useful idea.
What a superbly clear presentation, both verbally and visually. And inspiring. Thank you.
