Ace Frehley was my 1st Guitar hero. When I picked up KISS ALIVE! my life was changed forever. Thanks Ace for being such a great guy. I got to see you on December 12th, 2019 in Angola, Indiana. I was so excited & you didn't let me down, you & your band were great!!!

Strangely, I LOVE The Elder. I’m a huge Kiss freak, and it is my favorite album. Everybody bust my balls but I don’t care. Kiss ruins a lot of their music for fans a lot by opening their mouths. I definitely don’t mean Ace Frehley, I specifically mean Paul and Gene. I’ve read the books, I’ve heard all the interviews, and they pretty much fuck up everything from my childhood every time they talk. They talk about how much they don’t enjoy the music they made etc. They talk shit on the other members constantly. Gene is just a cheesy money grubbing goofball to me now. ACE RULES!!!!

Love Kiss and especially Ace! He has always been my fave member of the group. Ace also has never been never been given credit for the influence he had in rock guitar playing. I think his style of playing is one of the best in rock history!!

A fera interior I would not die for any rock star, I would only die for my family. Ace helped make KISS what they are, without him, they would have never reached the success they reached. Kulick might be better behaved, but he’s just a stand in going through the motions, so they can keep the KISS marketing machine going and make more money for Gene.

I heard people make fun of or ask why the Elder was ever made for decades before I actually listened to it. After hearing it I really didn't understand what was so awful about it. I guess not being a diehard Kiss fan I was able to just hear it as a rock album from 1980 like any other. Hell I liked Crazy Nights and Tears are Falling and Heaven on Fire and lots of the stuff from their supposedly forgettable years in the mid 80s . There was certainly worse material coming out then and there was worse albums than the Elder at the time it was released

Nobody cares what you want to hear, just stop. Look at the greatest concept albums, this one died before they recorded a note. They were a spent force, they'd tried pop, disco. This was just another desperate grasp onto something. You only have to hear Gene or Paul talk about other musical genres to see they are clueless, knuckle dragging philistines.
