Wired headphones will still be around. I know because you can get a wireless gaming headset that works for the same price and people choose not to get them. It's the same as how people opt for vinyl records or percolated coffee. The convenience of wireless isn't necessarily worth other tradeoffs, or just personal preference. I still use wired on everything but my phone.
