- This is part 1 of my All Questlines Guide which details all possible Questlines in the game and how to do them when they become active in order. Follow the steps in the video and you should have every characters questlines completed by the end of your playthrough.

Note: Patches now can be found on the side of Rosaria's chamber after he tricks you at the bridge and Orbeck no longer needs to die as long as you have heard Yuria's request to kill him.
How can i keep holy knight hodrick alive and get his armour? Cause when i killed greatwood like you mentioned, he is just dead
ForbesyGames You need to complete Sirris' quest.
So finish the Sirris quest first and then go and kill greatwood? gotta say thats confusing for new players.
Can you put the order which you killed the bosses in between steps or just tell us the order you killed the bosses?
@@ForbesyGames He is undead so he's not actually dead you can still kill great wood then do sirris quest
about ORBECK - you can keep orbeck alive, however, you MUST give him at least one scroll before killing abyss watchers or he will dissapear. There are 2 scrolls in farron keep. Then, summon him for prince lothric fight, and you will find his ashes later in the grand archives, which you can give to yuria

Here's a question, with Yuria's personal quest, where you need to kill Orbeck... Could you possibly accept the quest but then wait for Orbeck to die himself, as part of his questline? And then obviously return to her because i believe you get his Ashes from his corpse.

True, I decided to homeward bone after Patches kicked me in the cathedral to get to him quicker and he just isnt there anymore so I guess I screwed up pathes siegwards and greirats questlines lol

For those who don't get locked in the tower by Patches after meeting him in the cathedral of the deep (where he lowers the bridge): he will be on the other side of that same bridge. Get there (use yt tutorial if needed), talk to him, and then he will appear at the tower. Hope this helps some of you

Thankyou man, it took daaaaaays to be honest. I had to run the game 3 seperate times to get all the footage needed then had to make sure it was all in order and the information was correct. Took a very long time haha >.

I should note, you can complete Yuria's questline(the Lord of Hollows ending) without killing Orbeck.
Complete his questline by giving him all the scrolls and you'll then find his ashes in the Grand Archives.

Your videos are amazing im writing down every step as most scenes are 10 mins apart but still has precise detail :) i've missed so many areas aswell until i seen this video i didnt know about them.
I just made a google doc with all the notes so anyone can come in and use it for reference while playing. This is a reference for people who have already watched the video and don't want to go back multiple times and have to rewatch segments of it. I'll be adding the parts 2 and 3 once I get around to them. I also changed it so anyone can comment about anything being incorrect or maybe better wording if necessary.

Yes if you want the right ending or the rings you can buy from him.
if i dont kill orbeck will i be able to continue the questline of the other characters?
Yes he will die in the libary after you have killed the dragon slayer boss.
Right ending? The right ending in my book is being king of hollows and lord of cinder

5 years later, I think it's just random. Whenever you don't find him at the stairs then he is outside in the grave. And he can go there multiple times.

Don't kill deacons of the deep or else patches won't spawn. Meet with siegward and patches first, then kill deacons and talk to anri, hawkwood and Leonhard.
Alternatively, if you already killed deacons and don't see patches at the cathedral, go to the tower in firelink and take the elevator. You should hear the door closes, which means patches trapped you in.
Very important: patches needs to be found before you do the deacons of the deep bossfight
what happens if you kill the deacons before? i accidently did it without knowing the patches quest line

If Patches doesn't show up at the bridge in Deacon and you followed all prior steps DON'T TRIP. Just go to the tower and he'll lock you in as he would normally.

How do you make Harkwood show up outside firelink shrine near the cemetery? Is this an essential step as I think I've gone just past it
+The Randy Box nah its not essential, it's just showing a location he may be if he isn't in the shrine.

why not tell people that if you don't kill the giants in the cathedral patches want trap you again in the tower because he doesn't show if you don't kill both the giants before meeting him on the top level
he still traps you, even if you killed the giants

Did you beat the deacons yet? I haven't run DS3 in awhile since the NPC patch but back here killing the deacons was the trigger. I killed the Giants because they would Agro on you if you didn't when the game launched.

I talked to anri already but sirris hasn't showed up to the shrine yet. I really wish that you would've put in how far into the game you should be or not go past certain points in the game so it isnt so confusing to do this all in order.
When you collect the ashes and tomes should you give them in or keep them on you to later on or doesn't it matter
Turn in the ashes when you get them. Wait until you have all tomes and then turn them into Karla or Irina.
following this guide in order shouldn't cancel or lock-out any other quest lines, does it?

Hardwood isn’t appearing a the shrine graveyard for me. I’ve done all of the steps of all of the quests before you get to that part according to this video.

I’m playing DS3 rn and on my 2nd char… it’s cool to see that Anri of Astora used to be voiced by a guy and now in 2023 it’s a girls voice.

NG+7 Hawkwood is in the shrine from the start replaced at the grave by a dog.

Just kill the dog and reload, he will spawn then

Some of them cancel out with each other, so you have to do some questlines in this playthrough and do the remaining cancelled out questlines in ng+

i couldn't find the lever to raise the bridge in cathedral deep over to Rosaria's bed chambers, so i ran the rafters and dropped over to rosarias to raise the bridge. Now patches doesn't show up to drop the bridge on me as the imposter. WTF?
Do you actually want to reverse hollowing at the Velka shrine? Wouldn’t reversing the hollowing cause a problem in the quest line?
Nope. If you reverse the hollowing at the Velka shrine it will just remove the jerky looking skin. She basically acts like a Purging Stone but needs souls to do so. If you reverse hollowing at the firekeeper though it will mess everything up.

im having trouble with orbeck he wont teach me sorceries i guess bc im not a sorcerer build (im a warrior build) does that mean i cant do his quests at all?
You have to give him scrolls to continue his quest line
need help i cant find patches on the part where he is supposed to lock the door when i go up the tower and the girl sirris i dont know how to get her
He missed on part of the questline, so I wasnt able to get patches to spawn at firelink shire. you have to met him across the bridge so you can get him to spawn at the firelink tower. Search for his questline on yt and youll see.
Dayvson if you miss him at deacons but did everything else right going into the tower at firelink and he will lock you in

I cant get Patches to spawn in the bell tower, would it have anything to do with the fact that i'am in NG+ and I was able to give Sigward his armour I had in my previous game before activating Patches second trap?
It probably sent him upstairs in the shrine

HEy quick question, I went into the tower after buying the key and went dropped down to get an estus ring this lead to me another door to get out. Is there anyway I can remain locked in at all or have I just messsed it up?

So, you tell us to open the door for Patches and Siegward, and then go straight to telling us to talk to Anri (After we kill the boss) Do I kill the boss and then do Patches and Siegwards quest? or was Patches and Siegward left out of the vid?

If you reverse hollowing, do you lose stats? I'm SL120 and I don't want to change it.
If you reverse hollowing you just loose access to Yuria, that's it. Just go to the Velka Shrine and you can cure yourself of it and still keep Yuria.

As someone who doesn't have another 200 hours to dump into this game, thank you.
(in comparison, my first account ALONE in ds1 was 100 hrs [total of about 110 hours]... and dark souls 2 was only 80; That's nearly 400 hours I've spent on this series excluding Bloodborne...)
