I love these videos! Thank you for making them available! I had the privilege to visit the Walter P. Chrysler Museum years ago. I was impressed with the display of Mr. Chrysler's own tools, as well as everything else they had there.

I'm glad I watched this. I didn't know that the rear axle moved like that while turning. Very interesting..

I used to work on IVICO and some other brand of cab over truck in the late 90’s I would thing gross weight was somewhere about 25000 to 30000 lbs. No big deal the interesting thing was the trans. They used the torqueflight from Chrysler.
The ability of that trans was unbelievable. The only to murder the trans was to restrict the cooling ability, of the radiator connected to the trans. I was impressed.

Had an uncle that worked only on Chrysler products and only fir Chrysler ever since WW2 would not even look at any other manufacturer vehicles . Not even for a relative. Talk about loyalty. 30 years worth. God rest his soul. Amen.

The best thing you could do for a TorqueFlite is add a RV rated aux fluid cooler and deep pan. It will last pretty much forever after that. If you're racing, add the upgraded sprag, clutches, and bands. Also add the 5.0 ratio Hemi kickdown lever for better shift holds. You could also add a high speed governor.

In 1968 they didn't know what they do today. Hearing some of this, being a mechanic, scares the crap out of me. Thank God for radial tires and new technology.

Charlie the salesman bears a striking resemblance to Adam West.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Tech might occasionally enjoy a cigarette or a dozen ..

With the advent of overdrive automatic transmissions Chrysler’s transmissions went to crap especially in their trucks.
