I was in a relationship, it started to get abusive, I heard a voice inside me say "This man will kill you." That woke me up. I had to leave the relationship.
Nicole, your story brought me back to hope. I've been separated for almost 5 years hoping my marriage can be restored, but as I hear your story I realized sometimes things don't work the way we think it should. I was never hit, but the words I was told caused more pain than a hand fist. Thankfully, God has healed me and I am looking forward to see what he will do with my ashes. I usually advise against seeking divorce as the first option or way out of bad marriages but when it comes to abuse, especially when it's physical, I have reservations. However, there's always a way to solve problems. Five years ago, my wife and I were almost getting divorced because we had problems in our marriage, but we managed to sort things out. It was a difficult time, but we got through it.
I honestly want to find happiness too. I've got a partner, and even though we're not together right now, I can't imagine life without her; my love for her is strong. I really miss her, and I'm fully committed to bringing her back. We've explored different paths, like therapy, to fix things.
Saying farewell to someone you love dearly is never easy, but in my case, I had the assistance of a spiritual counselor who saved my marriage from falling apart. Her name is Suzanne Ann Walters.
Thank you for this direction. I'll swiftly seek her out online. I appreciate it. I'm hopeful that following this course of action will yield results for me as well; her absence weighs heavily on my heart.

I remember my church and how hard was my youth and college career groups. I was not one of the popular guys, but I was very involved in church. I never had any chance with the girls in my church. They were after the popular, handsome, rich guys. Today I saw that the popular girls who married the popular guys are divorced. The signs were clear, but they just didn't want to see. The attractive guys always look perfect, but reality is that many are narcissistic and can be very abusive. Many people in my church alerted the girls about the bad guys but they just didn't want to see. Today I see many of my friends that were rejected many times, well married. What do you tell women that rejected you to marry a jerk and now are divorced, alone, with lots of problems and still reject you? The reality is that that red flags are at the beginning of the relationship, but people don't want to see.

Joni God did not tell you to marry your friends ex husband when he divorced her on unbiblical grounds. The justification for Unbiblical divorces and jumping from marriage to marriage is sad.
