This Round the World steel yacht Damarri, is an Ebbtide 39, Alan Pape. She was filmed on the River Orwell, near Pin Mill Suffolk. With reporter Dick Durham and music from Andy Billups.
What beautiful lines! She looks vey handy to windward. A tiller to me gives the helmsman a true and direct feel for a sea. Beautiful little ship indeed.
It’s significant just how many times the phrase “Looked after....” is repeated. Indeed, that is the deepest feeling a craft, vessel, yacht, sea kayak can impart. I still well up when remembering my expeditions in my seakayak. It was so utterly seaworthy in an organic way. It too truly looked after me. As little as a 100 yards off any shore and one is already in a degree of danger, the shore line is suddenly and scarily distant. That’s when your craft proves itself.

So building up the view numbers will take time, as well as seeing the videos that people like to watch. For me its all about high quality content and with that the numbers I hope will follow. But if you have any suggestions how to increase the viewers I would luv to hear them. The video, Round the Island Race 2016 has hit more that 3000 in a couple of days. thanks for sharing these videos, I miss my boat so much I had to give it up a rew years back dew to my health I'm three operations in and getting there now I keep saying to my wife shall we get another boat ,,it falls on deaf ears ha,mabe one day ,keep um coming love wachi g tnem
what is it about the sea... how enriches the lives of us .. I thing it's the water and wind, the cooking going on down below, and the connection with being on the 'edge' ....... then coming home in 1 piece .
How old are you? How old are they? Has it possibly crossed your tiny little mind that when you are sailing around the world picking up a mooring usually costs lots of money and that they probably know a helluva lot more about anchoring than you?
