First - your sketches are the best, honestly. You are my fav sketcher (does this word even exist? It does now). Second - do you ACTUALLY have any full or at least part-time hob? This is just impossible to combine full-time work with what you enumirated in the video (books, sketches, you-tubing and such). So if you don't, consider yourself a lucky person but seriously, don't give such advice to anyone else. It does soned like "leave your comfort zone" which isn't feasable for most people. I mean it. 8 hours at office, commuting, 2 hours left if you go to bed early like I do. Ok I can spend 1 hour for sketching. But... not sure if that would do what you have.
OMg!! You're back.. I was literally lurking on your Insta and TH-cam page thinking what happened! It's really good to see you back in my sub box. Hope you're well! 💕💕
I could be watching your videos for hours. I LOVE your sketching skills, so I had to Subscribe! I have been uploading Coloring videos, but I just started sketching and I believe I am going to start doing more of that. Thank you for the inspiration!
Omg!! I've been waiting for your video!! Thanks for the tips, I recently started posting my art and making tutorials on youtube. I really love your videos. Welcome back!!
Thank you for this because I had to take a break not just for drawing but some courses I'm doing and I'm just starting to get back into it so thanks again.
Congrats on your trilogy! I'm glad you're back on TH-cam, too! I always loved your videos and seeing your art. ♥♥♥ I like how you mentioned drawing from reference and drawing from imagination are two different skills, because I can draw from reference very well but I have basically no imagination so I can't draw from pictures in my head. I really want to get better at that, cause it's my dream job to work as a concept artist.
I'm really happy you're back! You've been a huge inspiration for me but I have a feeling I understand the struggle in posting and consistency. 🌻 I look forward to seeing more! 💜🌻
Smart idea:if you just got a sketchbook, go to the first page (or if you drew something already go to the next page that’s blank) and write these tips!im going to do that and it might help me.now bye, time for me to write all the tips
Cool! I'm so happy to see a new video on this channel (especially on sketching). I've been trying to learn to draw, and this channel has been so approachable and engaging. I'm glad you're back, and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Welcome back! I have to say I am incredibly encouraged by your videos. I'm desiring to learn and I'm using your instructions and encouragement to inspire me. You touch on my problems (shaky hands, eye-hand coordination, etc.,) and that helps me know I'm okay with all of that. Looking forward to your future vids. And good luck on your trilogy. I, too, am publishing a book hopefully in April and it is extremely difficult to learn how to format a book as well as setting time up to draw. Do you what your creative muses lead you as they lead you. :)
Thank you! And wow publishing a book in April too? That's amazing. Wish you all the best. Honestly, I'm impressed by the sheer determination needed for a writer to make it to the publishing stage. There's SO much work (and tears) involved. It's one of the hardest things I have ever done. But boy oh boy, has it ever been satisfying. 💪🏼
Yes u draw well... n I'm one of those type of weird people who draws without references...but when you do that you gotta have a ton of skill in your head to get it right...lol... of which I dont.. but I love your style...huh I guess thats what I am ..a stylized artist.!😇
Question: Do you have any insight on actual surface angles? Do you draw on a flat surface or specific angles? I know it would depend on what's comfortable, but am curious as to what angle you draw on. Thanks!
The reality for myself and many others I'm sure is that life always gets busy. But thankfully I always find my way back into drawing and painting eventually. Appreciate the tips! I'll definitely have to take these to heart
Gosh, yeah, life always gets in the way, doesn't it? I guess it all depends on how much you let it "get in the way". Sometimes sacrifices are needed (like my social life 😵. Okay, joking but not really). At least with covid, life has slowed down a bit.
I have a question: how come you have over a quarter million subscribers but your views are quite low? It seems so off. Nonetheless, you're of course a great artist and the numbers don't reflect your skills, just wondering why the gap is so big.
My sketches usually end up looking different than the references too! I'm glad I'm not the only one. 😅
No way, yesterday i thought about sketching but had no ideas and now after 6 month you came back
THE QUEEN IS BACKKKKKKKK
I haven’t drawn in over a year and I just had the urge to sketch again
When we needed you most you came back, and just the video I needed.😁
Beautiful Sketch 💖💖💖💖💖

Yooo, drawing without references is a great skill to have. Kudos to you!
Do you have a video out already on shading?
Can you make video how to draw smile lips??? Pleaseee

The first thing that came to my mind watching this is that the woman looks like Feyre!! Well that’s the way I imagine her 💜
I have to have a reference too
The reality for myself and many others I'm sure is that life always gets busy. But thankfully I always find my way back into drawing and painting eventually. Appreciate the tips! I'll definitely have to take these to heart

I need to draw faces cuz I suck
When I hear duh I thought it was Billie
