Final caught up and just watched this video. It's a perfect companion for the Romantic Waves picture. I will do this one as soon as I have made the corrections you advised for my personal art coaching. I can put into practice what you taught me. Thank you for such a great show because you and Jon are so much more than a painting tutorial. You both make a complete show which is full of news, stories, laughs, painting tips and art games and more. You are the best acrylic art tutorial on You Tube. I will always say that. Ginger, you teach us so well and Jon is a whizz on the technical side and the banter between you just light up the show. Thank you both. I am very proud to be a member of Ginger Cook Acrylic Art Academy. God bless you both. xxxxx

Hi Ginger I'm a newbie to your show and wanted to tell you I absolutely love it. You and John are a perfect solution to my drab painting. I love the colors you use plus the simplicity of your palette . Everything totally resonated. I've watched your daughters show many times. She was my very first show. I painted the white puppo in the field of flowers. Which reminded me of my last photo image of my little rudey who had just passed away. So I painted it to honor him. It turned out to be a wonderful healing experience for me .I'm eternally grateful. I'm grateful for your show I relate to your personality and your lessons are easy and you explain so much I think I will do well. I will share a finished piece soon. Take care! I hope your Christmas is going well. Merry Christmas to you and John.

I haven't been able to paint her face properly because of the tiny features of her eyes, but now I can with you sharing the tip of using the coloured pencils. Thank you SO very much! I don't know why Artists and people in general don't share with others tips that would help all of us in life hone our skills. God Bless you for teaching us the how to's in painting and sharing all the tips you've learned throughout your painting career. SO APPRECIATED💝

Well what was aweful growing up would be that I did not do well in math because I wrote the answer down wrong and did not see it. I did the math ok, just couldn't seem to write the correct answer. There is around 77 different forms of dyslexia I am told but no one ever heard of that when I was growing up. 🌺

Ginger. You said you would tell us how TO. G E T THE TRACEABLE 4 THIS LITTLE PAINTING . I JUST ADORE THAT LITTLE BOY WITH THE DOG. I ASK IN. ALL OF UR TUTORIALS JUDY
Other than texture being rougher, are the inexpensive canvases at say, Michaels, etc... archival quality? Or do you have to look for special information on canvas to know which will be archival and which ones won't be?
its your paint not the canvas that is going to make a difference as far as archival of the painting. But the wood and material will be better on more expensive canvas and generally they are easier to paint on.
Love this painting can't wait to paint it. Out of curiosity is John on his computer while you are painting as I can hear tapping noises? Not a problem though!
We all love everyone in your group 💕. I have noticed even the most beautiful videos that no one could possibly criticize, someone does. There maybe is only one thumbs down. Ginger, I just finished this painting and want to put the child and dog in but can't find that tutorial. Can ya help me? This is my first landscape painting...did ok with everything but the road. Not sure. Use the contact us and see what Jon comes up with. you could just go to my Pinterest page GingerCookLive (all one word) and look at the first board on the top. Find the picture and print it out To do that use open image in new tab, then hit print.
Yes there is a and final video of about an hour that shows how to put the girl and dog in. Jon is supposed to have that up on our website with the trace able. Any one can pay for just a week ($9.95) and of course our subscribing members for both the wave and water master class and the video lesson library members.
by the way, check out my pinterest or facebook page as one lady painted a darling girl in a long dress with a different dress that is adorable to... lots of possibilities
go to www.gingercooklive.gallery and our go to our sign up page. You can do a single week for (9.95 to try us out) and we have monthly and yearly plans.
I used to use Liquitex Gloss varnish and medium. Now we use Liquitex Gloss Varnish which is very shiny and leaves no streaks. Here is a blog we did in our news letter with some videos on how to use it.: acrylicpaintingwithgingercook.com/varnishing-the-final-touch-for-your-acrylic-masterpiece/
Acrylics can be varnished safely the next day but Golden Open acrylics want you to wait 2 weeks. The Open acrylics are different than the Regular Golden acrylics as they have retarders in them that make them stay wet longer. You can do a second coat after at least 60 minutes. ( if you are painting art on kids furniture do 3-4 coats of varnish over a period of several days. ) I only use Liquitex medium and varnish (gloss or mat)
I think youre daughter has a triangle shaped sharpener from faber-castel and if I'm not mistaking your white charcoal pencil wil fit in there, but I'm not shure, you can try

WHAT DO YOU USE TO VARNISH A PAINTING.
I used to use Liquitex Gloss varnish and medium. Now we use Liquitex Gloss Varnish which is very shiny and leaves no streaks. Here is a blog we did in our news letter with some videos on how to use it.:

Thank you Ginger for the lovely painting, Thank you Jon for the palette cam and please do not go to Buffalo😱 😘
Thanks Nancy, I think the palette camera is a good addition to our show.
Ginger, its had to tell how you were putting the bristles to the canvas to make those white edges of the water.
Cissy, I will make a special video for our members and demo that and a couple other brush tricks that have come up.
Ginger Cook thank you!
When one of your moderators posts something where do they post it?
They answer and it is on the live chat, but disappears when the video is loaded
Sorry for all the typos!!
How long should you wait before varnishing a painting
Acrylics can be varnished safely the next day but Golden Open acrylics want you to wait 2 weeks. The Open acrylics are different than the Regular Golden acrylics as they have retarders in them that make them stay wet longer. You can do a second coat after at least 60 minutes. ( if you are painting art on kids furniture do 3-4 coats of varnish over a period of several days. ) I only use Liquitex medium and varnish (gloss or mat)
Thanks, Ginger love your work by the way your tutorials are so easy to follow. keep up the good work!

I think youre daughter has a triangle shaped sharpener from faber-castel and if I'm not mistaking your white charcoal pencil wil fit in there, but I'm not shure, you can try
thanks I will ask her. Maybe she will even tell me. LOL
Ginger, I NOTICED U R PAINTING GOLD OVER GREEN.I THOUGHT YELLOW ONLY PAINT OVER WHITE.
Gold over green is fine but it will be slightly muted than if you painted it over white. So it your really want it to stand out you put white first.
Of course, silly me!
I can't ask questions

Water and land are opposite . Land ,dark when you get close and light for fart. Ocean is dark fart and light when it get close. Is that right?
Yes that is correct. water is lighter where it is more shallow. Even crossing a stream a dark spot means a deeper hole
