Glad to see Cadric finally being featured in some gameplay videos. He was definitely my favorite commander to come out of the Dominaria set and should definitely receive more attention.
In some scenarios Dihada is better to just leave, she has the Lord wingrace thing of her really powerful ability being on minus less than she's left with after using it, so if her owner has mana up re cast with commander tax you don't want to kill her to force a tick up as opposed to another down.
@@MstrKipper that only applies if the dihaha is actually doing something. So far from what I’ve seen of this deck all is done is bin its interaction, make treasures and passes so killing it should just be a thing people do.
That wilhelt deck was just poorly built. Wilhelt’s wants things to die for value. Playing all the expensive value zombies and lords that don’t want to die is going against wilhelt’s engine. Pumping your zombies with keywords and +1 is pointless because you’re not going to win by swinging.
Felix not starting with Esper Sentinel cost him 3 cards… that was a dumb start. If he was thinking he wouldnt be able to cast Yoshimaru cause he’d only have one white, he mightve drawn another plains
Yes, because it becomes a swamp. All swamps have “tap add black to your mana pool”. Similarly, other lands that can’t tap for mana can also produce black (or nonblack lands like forest).
I use her as a graveyard deck and it's the same kind of principle I think for spellslinger: The minus ability fills your GY for a big spell (maybe Mizzix's Mastery for spellslinger) or gives you card advantage AS WELL AS ramps you by 3-4 treasures per turn. Toss in a decent plus for keeping her safe (assuming you have a legend in play) and I can see it being worth a shot. She's great for reanimation-focused builds at least, so I think it's cool at least trying it out for spellslinger.
tapping to the left? :O that's just wrong lol. that Cadric deck is very interesting, but why no Godo, Bandit warlord in the deck. if you make tokens of godo, you just get infinite combats too, not just Aurelia :) you don't even need to play he helm with this, you just make a copy with your commander
Don't the populated tokens for Cadric stay in play? Cadric's ability doesn't give the token the ability that forces sad, so any copied token would stick. Right? I couldn't find a rule on it, but seems like they stay.
Urborg makes all lands into swamps, meaning they have the ability to tap for black mana. This let's the fetch be tapped without needing to be sacrificed yet
In your game review, you should’ve said that you learned to play to win. While you had no creatures, you could’ve had a turn two dihada which is massive, gives you more treasures, and helps you dig for creatures. Also, maybe it was just your luck but the fact that you didn’t pull any legendary things off of Dihada except a land is disgraceful. Idk if you bagged the sol ring to make the game more even but it was a pretty terrible decision. Oh, and when Felix didn’t drop a turn one sentinel was also disgraceful, why even have turn one plays in your deck if you won’t play them turn one?
Ah yes, the four colors of magic all in one place. Perfectly balanced
Glad to see Cadric finally being featured in some gameplay videos. He was definitely my favorite commander to come out of the Dominaria set and should definitely receive more attention.
sandbagging the T1 sol ring into signet is the high-class move
I was shocked ^^
Gave seb extra draws later because he didn't have the mana. Andrew plays = cringe.
Playing it early is usually a death sentence. Sandbagging it is almost always the play outside of the highest power pods
That Yosei trick was disgusting and I love it. I think this game is a perfect example of why your deck can never have too much removal.
Felix definitely should’ve dropped esper sentinel on turn one instead of the tap land. Missed out on three draws
It's OK: he missed the draw on Dimir Signet so it all works out
That twinning staff put in SO MUCH work!
Braids is my newest commander and already one of my favorites. Nice to see others enjoying her.
She’s a nasty gal. I love her
We are just allergic to hitting open planeswalkers

@@MstrKipper oh yeah I agree I just think they should have hit her to keep her at 1 instead of 2

Always nice to wake up to a new video! 🥰
I really enjoy my Dihada deck. I focused mine around legendary dwarves/vehicles/equipment and of course making treasures.
Good way to start the day
First time ever that I saw a Twinning Staff staying in the board the whole game and having 0 impact on the outcome.
that Wilhelt seemed like he needed some love 😉

I think that pun violates the Geneva convention.
Do you have Divine Reckoning? Sounds like a perfect addition, as your deck doesn't run that many creatures.
No, but I definitely need to fix that.
Fun looking pod!
how did he make SIX griffins?
it bothered me fiercely to not go for the turn 2 dihada. the advantage you gain would have been far too worth
Would love to see another Satoru Duell
i dont understand not dropping sentinel turn 1.
Felix not starting with Esper Sentinel cost him 3 cards… that was a dumb start. If he was thinking he wouldnt be able to cast Yoshimaru cause he’d only have one white, he mightve drawn another plains
Why did no one attack Dihada
What kind of sleeves do you use muddstah ?
No green is illegal. You are under arrest
Does Zeriam golden wing makes a token per 1dmg? I thought it was just 1 token per any combat dmg to a player.
Arid mesa cannot get a temple of triumph. It has to be a typed land, mountain or plains. Temple is neither.
Can you tap Urborg for mana?? I didn’t know that because the card doesn’t say so
Yes, because it becomes a swamp. All swamps have “tap add black to your mana pool”. Similarly, other lands that can’t tap for mana can also produce black (or nonblack lands like forest).
Lets go Cadric!
Always pay for sentinel or else this happens lol
You should play Zedruu again soon. She's my fave
i love Braids :)
What does Dihada bring to spellslinger?

Fills up the graveyard for Yawgmoth's Will and Underworld Breach.
Holy smokes what a powerfull deck
Cedric? Well one Wrath or removal and its done.
tapping to the left? :O that's just wrong lol.

Perhaps he's got one, I'd like to see the decklist
Fork is always clutch.
I love aurelia

the populate enchantment itself makes them go away at the end of turn
@@mattk472 ah, thanks!
*3 cards combo (I guess)
What is mem?
Why andrew don't sacrifice fetchland and tap they for mana?

Why in Turn 5 Felix is creating 6 griffin tokens? It should be 2 ?
3 of the legendary griffin = 6 triggers

Please man stop with the mismatched white border lands ahahahah
