I notice that the drawers in the bedroom are not very deep (I mean towards the back); what's behind them to have to make them that small? Do you think I could work them and make them deeper...is there anything in the back that would be in the way?

Andre, there actually isn't anything behind them. The reason they're so small is because they have to be recessed quite a ways in order for the bed to fit when both bedroom slides are closed. You can see underneath the wardrobe that it drops back a bit before the drawers start. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Love the fact no stupid kitchen island! But bad placement to put washer/dryer hookup. Have to trip over bed to do laundry! The storage to put hookups should have been put at the foot of the bed beside the tv.
