CKP Recipe - Kelfulachi Bhaaji - Banana Flower Vegetable

- Kelful or Banana flower is also prepared into a tasty vegetable preparation which is shown in this video.
Ingredients-
1) Kelphool(Banana Flower) big sized- 1
2) Onions finely cut - 3
3) Turmeric powder - Half tsp
4) Red Chilly powder - 2 tsp
5) Sugar - 1 tsp
6) Salt as per taste
7) Grated Coconut - 1 bowl
8) Finely cut Coriander - for garnishing
9) Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Preparation -
1) Peel the banana flower and after cleaning, cut the flowers and stem into small pieces.
2) For detailed description on peeling the flower, please refer the video.
3) Soak the pieces in water and steam them for 5 mins
4) Add 1 tablespoon Oil to the cooking pan and heat it.
5) Add mustard seeds to the oil and let it cook for half a minute
6) Add Onion and saute well.
7) Add Turmeric powder, Red Chilly powder, Sugar and Salt as per taste.
8) Mix and saute.
9) Add the vegetable pieces.
10) Mix and saute well.
11) Keep the lid on the pan for 1 minute.
12) Post 1 minute, add the grated coconut and coriander.
13) Mix well.
14) Vegetable is ready.

In the water.add 2 tbsp buttermilk / taak then add khelphool. It will white and will not be black when you make curry.

🙏🏻 पाण्यात नमस्कार बुडवून ठेवावे कारण ironचे प्रमाण भरपूर असल्याने ते काळे पडते.
@@CKPRecipesbySushamaDeshpande soak in taak or imli water. 2 tbsp enough. It will not turn black. You can also add Safed chuna or pink colour used by paan Wala in water and add khelphool or brinjal. They will not turn black and calcium is good for health.my athya taught me this. While making curry squeeze in hand and add to oil phodni directly.towards end add gud or coconut freshly grated.

🙏🏻 केळफूल कडू असते. . मी भाजी दाखवताना मुद्दाम सांगितले होते कि केळफूल कसे घ्यायचे कडू निघाले होते तर भाजी फेकून द्यावी लागते.
