Happy to see Irish artists found it in themselves to present really interesting and atmospheric songs this year! Bambie Thug gave a powerful push. Bobbi and Reylta are my faves. Emmy sounds 90s, very charming too.
The issue with Samantha Mumba's song is that it takes half of the 3 minutes to get going, but then there's nothing to hook you in. It just goes from one sound to another, without anything to hold onto.
Bobbi said : “I'm sour candy So sweet, then I get a little angry, yeah Sour candy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah I'm super psycho Make you crazy when I turn the lights low Sour candy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah” 🤭🤭
Even though I prefer growth and fire because I'm on a depressed mood rn, Ireland needs bobby Arlo! But nice selection! And Samantha Mumba is LEGENDARY!!
Bobbi: Bambie Thig ripoff and wannabe. Just a big NO Niyl: vibey song😍 Reylta: Lazy song idk what to think Emmy: need more time to grow i guess not really impressed Adgy: everything doesnt really seem to match together but its a nice song Samantha Mumba: pleasant song
In my opinion is weaker than last year, but stronger than other years. I think fire must win. It is so folklore and unique. All my best wishes for Ireland from Spain 🇮🇪♥️🇪🇦
Still a more complete selection than anything Ireland had the last few years. Bambie was the only strong esc entry last year and the previous years all had far worse songs than anything in this selection.
@@theonlyraid Come on, there was also Ailsha last year. But yeah, it doesn't change the fact that Ireland starts to finally understand what Eurovision is about and it's not only about generic, radio friendly songs.
@ Yeah, but at Eurosong every song sounds awful live, as their staging conditions are absolutely shit :D So I'm trying not to judge based on performances, Bambie Thug also didnt sound great in NF and we know how it was so much different at ESC :D
Not Ireland having a better selection than Norway 😂
and Ireland has "Laika party", that could be MGP dropout btw
@@xHeks_ It was submitted for MGP and they rejected it
@@sfinn85 💀
at this point it would be top 3 in MGP
@@sfinn85it sounds more appealing than almost every other song competing in MGP this year lol
@@xHeks_ aint no party like a laika party

Irish artists and also Emmy*
0:52 that's Emmy, aka Emmy "Witch Woods" Kristine Guttulsrud Kristiansen who took part in Norway's national final Melodi Grand Prix 2021
I knew her name sounded familiar
Is that really her?? That would explain why this song sounded more like a MGP entry to me 😂
witch woods was iconic this one is disappointing
Omg that's really herrr
Is she Irish?
My top 2 :
1. Bobbi Arlo - Powerplay
2. Emmy - Laika Party
Same here
Same
Is that Ireland ? 😂 Bambie really fuelled their motivation
Bobbi and Reylta ftw!
Reylta is amazing, it sounds so irish
Reylta is actually the artists name, the song is called fire ❤
@@IRESC I know, i was talking about her
I GOT ALL THE POWER 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥

Really rooting for Fire, it’s the most standout one of this lot for me personally.
For me, powerplay and fire are really interesting and I think they would do well in esc this year!
I love “My Way” and “Fire” sm! So strong songs!! ❤
Ireland is actually cookin
powerplay is THE SONG
Reylta is amazing! Fire for the win! This is what I've been wanting to see from ireland. If it was in Irish it would be even better
Fr
Bobbi Arlo FTW
Reylta, Adgy and Samantha Mumba for me! 😊
This ain’t bad! Nice Ireland 😮🎉
Bobbi is the clear winner here
Go Bobbi this is yours!
Bobbi and Emmy!!!
Powerplay or Laika Party.
Powerplay is my favourite by far
My biggest favorites to represent Ireland 🇮🇪:
Bobbi arlo
EMMY
Reylta
People say irish selection is strong.but is there a song that can reply Bambie's result?or at least top 10?i doubt
Even though I prefer growth and fire because I'm on a depressed mood rn, Ireland needs bobby Arlo! But nice selection! And Samantha Mumba is LEGENDARY!!
Bobbi: Bambie Thig ripoff and wannabe. Just a big NO
Niyl: vibey song😍
Reylta: Lazy song idk what to think
Emmy: need more time to grow i guess not really impressed
Adgy: everything doesnt really seem to match together but its a nice song
Samantha Mumba: pleasant song
There's no way Powerplay doesn't win
Irleand is back
Adgy, Samantha, Emmy
my way has a weird production? Personally i like Powerplay and Fire
I hope Ireland has learned tha vanilla doesnt work in eurovision
Great selection but POWERPLAY MILES AHEAD
Wondering which one was fast-tracked. Adgy's song is my favourite out of this selection.
Samantha
@@lonelyslandthat's disappointing
Bobbi for the win❤️🔥🖤❤️🔥
guess Bambie Thug wasn't a fluke and Ireland is good again
btw, Bobbi Arlo for the win!
Bobbi Arlo remains the best choice for me! Followed by Emmy
samantha mumba!!

Other than Bambie, they’re all batter than last year
LAILA PARTY
Ireland having better songs than vidbir
if anyone else than emmy or bobbi arlo wins it's a flop
Seems Bobbi's to lose
Emmy and Reylta are good too
sorry but where is polish recap?
Only My Way can do something in Basel.

I think this selection is overrated

@ her studio version was great but the live was pretty awful sadly. Brings that song down a lot for me
Same sentiment.

weak songs this year, none of the entries is able to repeat bambie's success from last year
Hopes for Bambie weren't high at the beginning so y'all should stop being so fucking negative
I love “My Way” and “Fire” sm! So strong songs!! ❤
