Wilt did Win MVP his Rookie year 😬 wejust look over it like so many of Wilts accolades especially with the Post-Merger stats
No one is looking over Wilt's accolades. He is considered a top 10 player in most peoples eyes if anything it is Unseld who people look over. All people say about Unseld is his stats weren't all that great which is a very simplistic way of looking at things. Also Wilt put up those stats because he took the 3rd most field goals per game of all time in an era with the highest pace while being able to play 43 minutes because the league was less physical so him scoring 37 is much closer to anyone else's scoring if he played a normal amount of minutes, the league had a closer to average pace or if he didn't take so many shot attempts.

Also I’m not saying Wes Unseld is bad he is definitely overlooked I agree, If you don’t wanna say Bill because he was like 6ft9 without shoes, I’d Say unseld was the first small ball Center and he was part of a top 5 fast break ever and that Washington would probably be the “dynasty” of the 1970’s making the playoffs every year getting a ring and making multiple finals

Yeah The Knicks definitely are up there and if the continued the dominance of the earlier years for a couple more I think they would’ve shut the door completely but they left it open a bit, but being said you can’t go wrong with either

I feel like there's a few things to look for in later draft picks one defense worst come to wrose that's a NBA skill they can have to help your team immediately. Especially if the defender has play making skills. Plus personality and age. The older players are higher value later in the draft they know their role and they will play it and that's value for later dudes
