His TS% is actually better than last yr, shooting 42.2% 3P on 8.3att. 83% FT on 3.5att. 6.8assts to 1.4TOV is NUTS, & 2.3stls. 0.7blks too.
18.4ppg on 56.7% TS & 20.4% USG. USG lower than last cpl yrs bc Siakam was handling the ball a lot, Scottie, etc. Hopefully he can get his 0-3ft up to at least mid-high 50s…but ya I’ll take like League avg or above TS for a PG that can defend, be a high volume 3P sniper, and has almost a 5:1 ASST to TOV lmao.
Obv not gonna sustain 5:1 but he was like 2.7:1 or so last yr, & I expect his finishing at the rim to go up so. Def should’ve went earlier. Guess he slipped ppls mind bc he’s been out. Kinda slipped mine too tbh.

Honestly assuming health, I’d take FVV over Russ (obv) and Poole if I’m building a team. Just has more experience, better at being a lead ball handler, and while he’s only 6”1 he’s wayyyy better than Poole on defense. You can put him on most PGs and feel fine, or if the PG is a killer then the SG.
Side note, he’s gonna be a free agent after this season bc he’ll opt out of that player option. Might be (prolly) just to extend w TOR but you never know. He should get a nice bag. He will have made $82M after this season. Has a $22.8M PO going in to age 29 season.
How much y’all think he will get? I doubt they’ll do more than 3 more years on top of the PO if he opts in and extends that way, or opts out and they structure it diff. That’d be age 29-32 seasons and he’s turning 33 that last season in late February.
$22.8M PO. Maybe opt in and add like 3yrs $80M in new $? So 4yrs $100-$105M total? Maybe a player option Year 4 for taking the option and not asking for a raise next year. Bc they gotta pay GTJr next yr too, then OG the yr after. Siakam will be up too but I doubt he gets more than he’s making now. $38M in 23-24. So new deal is age 30 season and on. Maybe they give him like 3 more years at like $100M? For 30-32 turning 33 like playoff time that last year that’s a lot.
