Shanghai Maglev Train - the fastest commercially operated trains

Shanghai Maglev Train, is a high-speed transportation system that utilizes magnetic levitation technology. It is one of the fastest commercial trains in the world and serves as an iconic symbol of Shanghai's modern infrastructure.
It connects Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Longyang Road in the eastern part of the city. The line covers a distance of approximately 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) at the speed of 300km. However, its maximum speed exceeds 430 km/h, making it one of the fastest commercially operated trains in the world. Passengers on the Shanghai Maglev Train can enjoy a comfortable and futuristic travel experience. The train features sleek and modern interiors with spacious seating and large windows, allowing passengers to take in the views as they whiz through the city. It officially started commercial operations in 2004, just in time for the opening of the Shanghai Pudong Airport.
