They should have just made it a melee super. Make the first similar to 1hit Meele supers (rebellion spear) and if the attack connects then you follow up with the Kamehameha. Would have been really cool and actually useful. Multi hit beam supers in this game are just never good anymore. Anyway merry christmas/happy holidays!
You should try going after the Dragonballs at least twice in a match as a Survivor. Radar Boost passive skill with a dragon radar or Dragon ball Diviner skill are a must. Raider and other survivors tend to not bother going after the Dragonballs once they have been used. They will mainly be focused on power keys and STM. So there will be little competition to hunt the dragon balls. Also the Raider may destroy areas which cuts down how much terrain you would need to cover.
I think this move is supposed to be a defensive move. Like use it when the raider charges at you, the “Evil Explosion” makes a wall and then Kamehameha does the real damage. It might break the knock back gauge if it’s used like that. I don’t have Beast Gohan yet so I can’t test this theory.
The move is better than Kamehameha. Because you have a really short casting time for the first move, so the first move can clear some ki blast or special skill and the Kamehameha can hit. But depend the tracking and in same time time gohan don't have really better option because his makankosappo with his special animation is longer than piccolo so is not worth to use. And masenko don't deal a lot dmg but don't cost a lot is same time can be good for poke as lv3 but nor amazing for lv4
The amount of damage it can do is akin to your Change Level. The Raider's stun gauge is depleted, they are left stunned, and lose any lock one. Other survivors are knocked back from the Raider. Successfully pulling off the move instantly ends your transformation.
Nah, the only way to use this super full is with a stun. You can vanish kick and super, you won't hit the first blast, but the kame still hits if raider doesn't use afterimage or similar. Another reason as to why Beast Gohan, although is Awesome looking, is not as Beast as he is in the anime. I prefer his master.

How about testing Demon Ray with Kaioken Rush into the Raider, to see if can combo off the KR rush hit.

Maybe use a rocket to take half the knock back gauge off, and then use the super, merry Christmas.

Would be funny if they add a Saibaman/Chaotzu transphere that lets you melee the raider and explore, downing yourself in the process.
