When you least expect it, Iida starts juggling you like its nothing and theres almost no hope to escape if they know your low. Bros a god at hit an run. :P

Big Iida secret: Use your air melee. It has some tracking, it's snappy, good for catching wakeups if you learn the timing. Fantastic for punishing players who try to act too early after taking damage, and it also can just be used for some quick, short bursts of movement for when you don't want to use a charge on your skills. You can also combo into it after two Alphas, which I think deals more damage than 3 alphas will early game? And again, saves a charge so you can get out if you need to.
I love Iida! I got a nice Iida tip for you. You can cancel his gamma ability! Just level it up! It will remain at whatever % you were at, but you can avoid burnout.
At 5:20 if you had quickly hit G E, you would have dodged burnout.
If you spot a gamma card somewhere like at 16:58, you can save a bit of time by activating the ability just to grab it and it'll cancel.

The character who's speciality is running really fast is also a bird.
After retiring so much in games, I learned Retire function basically permanently keeps you incapable of dropping badge on death

i love playing ida. as a newer player my aim on beaming characters atm sucks. ida atleas his tracking is somewhat good if ur aim isnt great. been playing him for weeks now in unranked and hes just really good. thanks for the video. btw how are u doing the flip from his gamma skill without activating the skill?

Activate RPM (Gamma, Y skill)
B Skill, Alpha Skill, B Skill
At max level it does a whopping 212 I think
Also they can't escape. Use this combo to close the distance between u and ur opponent And Kill them quick without them knowing what's what

So...did you know that you can cancel your burst, you need to level up that specific ability before it gets to 0
i need a guide how to run from him. i always use characters with no mobility like ibara and dabi. lida and tsuyu always target me. theyre unavoidable unless you have your teammate helping you. but in a fight, your teammate would be busy fighting others
I don't know about Asui but Dabi should be a good counter with preset traps that's how I look at it
@@SilentTypeX i put traps but he didnt even flinched so i still get hit with his wide range kick. idk if its because of the shield or not

If it's a 1v1 just fight back, you out damage him by a lot. You can grab him with ibara and alpha him when he alphas to knock him back.

I was playing him the other day and I was fighting a Shoto, and winning, but then a Dabi came and they 2v1 me and they won. I never thought Iida would be good enough to fight a Shoto so I was happy
Lida can take on any character with ease as a bakugo main he’s the most annoying character to deal with

I swear half the complaints are people that think they are too good and can't even be bothered to learn how to deal with Iida, pretty sure the same kind of people that would shoot at a Compress SHIELD until they deplete it

I haven't played him yet, but his kit seems like a no-brainer. You don't need to do a lot of crazy stuff, to achieve a great result. This is the only bad taste I have about him.
If I remember right his kicks are also kinda auto-aim - which isn't the case for froppy's skills xD
I think his damage is tweaked well, I just never really feel "outplayed" by him.
You don't find issue with the football field heat seaking foot he uses basically with no CD most of the time dealing 140 damage from nowhere with very little counterplay or method to avoid it?

@@Am4t3r4su what I said was that his damage doesn't feel earned. It's too easy to deal said damage, not that it's necessarily too much.
But I agree that as someone playing kendo, I hardly feel the damage of his kicks, even tho he can make me struggle out of shield because of his beta.
@@Am4t3r4su No counterplay huh? Considering most chars can trade or straight Up win that trade taking no dmg this feels like a skill issue case. This is without mentioning your Dodge button.

If I were to be selective about his nerfs. Maybe decrease his range for his kick and Alpha quirk. It feels like the Beta just auto locks on and that’s kinda annoying. Just decrease the range and maybe lower the damage by 7. That’s all I can say
lida has been the most annoying character since launch. I would rather get froppy tongue slapped than get wombo combo’d in mid air by lida
People sleep on him because they use his Y wrong ,we mains him,use his Y for escaping or to carry our teamates on our backs then run ,or even some times chassing but don't use it in fights
The lock on and range of his attacks are too much
This is the most annoying character in the game. I take my eyes off him for a second and I’m getting beta’d in the back of the head constantly, and don’t even get me started on his insane escape potential. I hate him so much, all the speed characters are annoying but this one takes home the go screw yourself award.

Idk what kinda nerf they should do to Iida, cause he needs one to stop meta players. Stop his aviation capabilities? Reduce that homing on his attacks?
Iida is fine, there's enough counterplay to everything he does plus his damage IS not that high. The only thing he truly excels at is mobility
But people yelling nerf tsu 🙄, stop it, get help. Every lida i play with getting blocked
