Used it only when I was about ready to lose it. One puff. Just enough to cut the edge. Kept doing that, never letting myself have too much. Eventually I realized I hadn't used it for a week and had no idea where I last put it. Been smoke free for 6 years now. You can do this. You got it.

Even though i saw how it affected her health (always coughing, having trouble breathing and so on) i started doing it at 16 (2 years ago), at first it only started with 1 pack a week, but now i've gone to the point where i smoke a pack a day. I struggle with selfharm, so instead of cutting, scratching myelf til i bleed or abusing alc, i smoke more (which is so stupid ik), but he's so right. It's so not worth it and i've already noticed that my health declined, having more headaches and trouble breathing. I really want to change it and i'm gonna do it now. I don't want to have kids someday and them having to go through the same thing.

I tried yelling at her, begging at her to make her please stop smoking cigarettes but with no effect. I know she feels miserable cause of her smoking and letting others down. My mom has a very rough life and nothing is really going for her beside the enjoyment of a cigarette. Sometimes life is really cruel. My mom passed away 4 years ago from COPD and emphysema. She was only 64. She quit 8 years prior before her death. And I truly believe it extended her life a little longer. I was 29 years old. She passed a month before my 30th. She'll never get to see her grandchildren grow up. She won't be at my wedding. I won't get to have those motherly talks when I'm freaking out because I have NO clue on what the hell I'm doing with my life. It's a bit of a Grey area, sure it blows that it's on the store but if you were to ask the average player whether to have a store mount that you pay for or a feast mount where only a few hundred people can get it via win trading which they openly admit, most of the time they'll choose the store mount. it's not ideal but that's the situation we are in and trust me I wish there is a better system than the feast one. from what I remember they might be doing something for endwalker about it but I do not remember fully. At the very least the funds go to improving the game instead of a yacht. That's how we got the oceanic data servers that will be up later on.

The list goes on. I wager half the complainers probably haven't done those things, and especially not Ultimates, yet he intends to do them all. There will always be that pool of people who spew "carried" or some other comment to make themselves feel better about whatever it is that makes them act this way. My dad is an immigrant from Taiwan and he used to smoke 1-2 pack every single day and me and brother would go and hide his cigarettes' to try to get him to quit. Eventually he did quit but when COVID hit we were all really scared for him because he has a really bad lung, constantly coughing, phlegm in lung etc. Don't smoke guys, don't be an idiot.
The end was a bit personal for me, my mom also smoked all my life around me, but I am glad to say she quit a few years ago due to some heart problems she was developing. I am happy to say she is healthy now, but the consequences of smoking for so long will stay with you forever.
Both my parents smoked for long enough that it had a severe negative impact on the longevity and quality of their lives. It's pretty great to hear someone with this kind of an audience willing to tell it like it is.
I stopped being an addict to smoke, alcohol and pain meds.. I feel that pain because It's really not easy but at the end of the day it makes your life shorter, less happy and you spend thousands on it.

My father died recently, he smoked all his life, from 17yrs to 72yrs, the doctors never found anything, his lungs worked great all his life, and then suddenly from one month to the next the symptoms started, he quit smoking, but to late, and 3 Months later he was lying dying in the hospital, more than 40 pounds lighter with a hole in his throat, unable to eat, speak or to move, His eyes looked empty and he was so full of painkillers that he didn't even recognize his own family. I can only advise everyone who smokes to quit, even if it is difficult, take your time, do not rush it, do it for yourself and for your family and friends. Forgive any spelling mistakes that may occur, English is not my first language.

My dad’s 21 years sober and got back into cigars thanks to my uncles pressuring him, it breaks my heart that he’s using them after being clean for so long. They’re not always frequent smokes, but I wish he’d remember that he’s in his 50’s and that he’s got a shorter lifespan thanks to the hardcore drugs and shit he did for the younger years of his life. Breaks my heart cuz we just mended our relationship and I can’t say a thing about it, cuz he doesn’t see it as a current problem. 😔 All my love for ya Asmon & your mom, I feel you brother.

The end was a bit personal for me, my mom also smoked all my life around me, but I am glad to say she quit a few years ago due to some heart problems she was developing. I am happy to say she is healthy now, but the consequences of smoking for so long will stay with you forever.

Both my parents smoked for long enough that it had a severe negative impact on the longevity and quality of their lives. It's pretty great to hear someone with this kind of an audience willing to tell it like it is.
I stopped being an addict to smoke, alcohol and pain meds.. I feel that pain because It's really not easy but at the end of the day it makes your life shorter, less happy and you spend thousands on it.
am smoker and i managed to quit, most people give me stupid adivces about how to quit, they telling me what i already know, the best advice i received was from an ex-smoker, he told me its so easy to fail to quit, its normal, just make sure to never stop trying, i tried for literally 10 years till i managed to quit, now am smoke free for 6+ years and imagine, its take 15+ years for my body to become like a smoke free person with pink healthy lungs

My father died recently, he smoked all his life, from 17yrs to 72yrs, the doctors never found anything, his lungs worked great all his life, and then suddenly from one month to the next the symptoms started, he quit smoking, but to late, and 3 Months later he was lying dying in the hospital, more than 40 pounds lighter with a hole in his throat, unable to eat, speak or to move, His eyes looked empty and he was so full of painkillers that he didn't even recognize his own family.
I can only advise everyone who smokes to quit, even if it is difficult, take your time, do not rush it, do it for yourself and for your family and friends.

My dad’s 21 years sober and got back into cigars thanks to my uncles pressuring him, it breaks my heart that he’s using them after being clean for so long. They’re not always frequent smokes, but I wish he’d remember that he’s in his 50’s and that he’s got a shorter lifespan thanks to the hardcore drugs and shit he did for the younger years of his life. Breaks my heart cuz we just mended our relationship and I can’t say a thing about it, cuz he doesn’t see it as a current problem. 😔 All my love for ya Asmon & your mom, I feel you brother.

@@Laroac it was bad before he got sober, went thru rehab a lot and almost left infant Me in the car while getting drugs, I’m lucky he’s still alive today. I’m always worried about him since he’s a cancer survivor and addict, but he is much better now than he was back then :)

I quit smoking 8 months ago and iam proud of myself. And seeing the last part hit hard.
That last bit hit home. Smoking is a horrible habit and it will affect your quality of life as you get older. I’ve seen it first hand and it’s not pretty. This is why I don’t drink, I don’t so drugs, and I don’t smoke. I’ve seen what it does to people.
