The Minish Cap is an addition to The Legend of Zelda series that sees our hero fight Ganondorf Vaati, retrieve and power up the Master Sword Picori Sword to once again save the land of Hyrule and rescue Princess Zelda.
This run by Tompa (tasvideos.org/T...) and quo improves upon the previous run (tasvideos.org/1...) by over 8 minutes thanks to much better optimization, new glitches, and a switch to the Japanese version of the game.
There is also an alternate TH-cam ( • The Minish Cap TAS in ... ) stream featuring audio commentary by the authors.

I never understand why they use ToonLink but use OOT Young Link voice then ToonLink. Seem so out of place.
i remember having to look up how to beat the first dungeon! the mushrooms were a pain!
For me it was realizing you could push pots onto switches my dad and I were scratching our heads for a couple hours not finding any info online before we realized we could push them 😂

1:21:23 I just realized while watching this that I was supposed to shoot the floating mine while it was next to the cracked blocks. I had actually used bomb arrows for that instead lol.

It is indeed. Lots of huge discoveries were found after this run was finished. I am working on a new and improved version, though I've gotten stuck so many times due to RNG that I lost most of my motivation with it. I should hopefully continue eventually...

@@edrisidelacruzdisla6169 There are certain actions that will change the RNG. Such as when you roll, slash you sword and charge up the boots. If we want a specific item drop from an enemy/object, the best way is to find a palce where we have to stand still and wait, and then we can add in extra sword slashes until we get the item we want.
As an example: at 17:46 we got a blue rupee from the rock. To manipulate them, we added sword slashes during the boss fight, at 16:20, until we got the result we wanted. The TAS is technically just a series of input presses. This input file can be opened and be modified. We can then manually add an extra B input for the sword, earlier in the run and then save it, without the need to redo the whole run up to that point.
Hope that explanation and example is good enough for an answer. Though I can go into more detail and give more examples if needed!

Wah, it's in Japanese because I don't waste my time looking at it, I don't like a language that I'll never understand and the letters look like a child scribbled, it still makes it difficult for me to understand English to I don't have the time or the patience to learn, and if my official language is Spanish, so learning more languages, no thanks.
