I don't care what your favourite genre of music is, when an Abba song is played. You gotta damce, sing along or tap your feet.
No, not me
I'm more likely to turn the station. Don't care for them at all. A bit irritating to me
@@KittyCarlile-490 But nonetheless you are here in an ABBA reaction.
@@KittyCarlile-490 Bahh humbug!
Bet you're fun at parties. 😆
@@Lisa-M I watch Harri's video's everyday
@@KittyCarlile-490Maybe you can wake up some day.But i dont think you can
Thank you for the music, ABBA!
You're right. This IS one of the greatest pop songs ever written, and I'm old enough to have experienced MANY of them.
Best Band Ever
My partner loves ABBA-so happy to be able to share this reaction program with him! Thank you Brandon and Harri!!!
Surely one of the best song of ABBA ever, lovely harmonies and Agnetha, was always so cute and pretty and her voice sounded, you are right Harri, so pure. And also the lyrics are so true of this amazing song.
HI HARRI ONE OF THE LAST ABBA SONGS 🎵 RECORDED BEFORE THEY OFFICIALLY SPLIT UP IS THE SONG" THE DAY BEFORE YOU CAME" ITS SUCH A HAUNTING SONG AND HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS A FORGOTTEN FINAL ABBA MASTERPIECE AND YOU SHOULD REALLY CHECK OUT THIS SONG AND ITS ATMOSPHERIC VIDEO AND YOU CAN FEEL THE SADNESS IN ITS LYRICS AND PERFORMANCE KNOWING THIS IS THE END.
I love ”The day before you came”❤️
Thank you Harri for the reaction.
Agnetha🩷 just amazing on this one!
What a performance!
Great react, Harri👌
❤️🇨🇱🤗👍
Awesome reaction Harry. The fact this is a live performance is astounding. Agnetha's voice is angelic, and with Frida's harmonies, it takes you to another dimension. Benny and Bjorn are the best song writers - and these heartfelt lyrics are written by Swedish guys for whom English is a second language. Keep up the great reactions; love seeing your joyous expressions! ABBA rules!
Actually even though there's a live version from 1981 from The Dick Cavet show in front of a live studio audience this one is from '79 UK Wembley where they played six consecutive sold out nights from 5 to 10 November of that year.
Agnetha was heavily pregnant when they recorded the audio version. Her doc advised her not 'to push' that much in order to avoid risks of giving birth earlier. So as she said in an interview she recalls herself recording this, laying on some sofa or smth with the mic hanging upon her and with her eyes facing her swollen stomach while doing the high notes lol.
Imagine being lucky enough to have seen ABBA live. The touring band had to be huge to replicate the massive production on the albums and they nailed it 100%.
Saw ABBA live in Melbourne :) Myer Music Bowl . . .
“I Have A Dream” is another pretty one, esp live.
That was our grade 12, 1980, graduation song 🎵
I do prefer the live version. So warm, non polished and heartfelt. It 's one of those songs that worked better as a live number( for me) .
Great reaction ! Please do SLIPPING THRU MY FINGERS LIVE from the TV show performance !
Agnetha was an incredible live performer ...wow
Just beautiful, thanks Harri. Benny is the pianist.
Great ABBA-reaction again from you Hari. Thanks and I agree. Fantastic popsong again.
If your channel had a theme song this would have to be it.
The Carpenters did some kind of an 'unplugged" live cover version during a tv show in 1978.Karen did it fine too.Btw Agnetha expressed her love and fascination for the duo during a 2013 interview.
I've been an ABBA fan all my life (well since i was 12yrs old and I saw them win the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974,staged in Brighton, England) when I first heard this track on their Album, ABBA "The Album" I must admit that it really didn't grab my attention 🤔 but the I went to see ABBA in concert at Wembley Arena in 1979....and when Agnetha sang this live I was blown away, i still don't like the studio recorded version but this live version 🎉🥳🤪🥰👍
Great reaction videos ❤ I'm now 63 and when ABBA were at the hight of their career it wasn't KOOL to admit to bring an abba fan 😵💫 but i was shouting it at the top of my lungs when i got my tickets for their London Concert, and my friends were like.... Who wants to see ABBA. Now all those people who said they didn't like ABBA are now screaming "I always loved ABBA...
When they released those two new singles in late 2021 i wept like a baby...
I'm so glad that you are enjoying the ABBA that i grew up listening too.
Please keep reacting to their music, not just the singles that they are known for but their Album tracks, so many that could and should have been released as singles back in the day.
Enjoy the rest of your journey with ABBA, you won't be disappointed.
PS....this live version was recorded in 1979 at Wembley Arena, ABBA only did two world tour's, the first in 1977, then again in 1979. They performed on 6 Convective nights at Wembley Arena, the first band to ever achieve this😮
🇬🇧🧐👍
I agree with you totaly the best pop song ever!!!!
I was feeling down so the doctor told me to take two ABBA songs every day 🐈⬛🐈♥️
cute doctor!! good appetite!!!!
Wow Agnethas voice is so amazing ❤❤❤❤❤
I 🤍 abba
Never heard this version, i love it! 😍
Harri, I understand. You are in her power. Welcome. Men of culture have gathered.
I agree about it being magical. The talent in this group is mind blowing, I will cherish their music, always. Thank you Harri and also Brandon. ❤
Benny said in an interview that he was inspired by bands like the Beach Boys. In the 1950s, when Bjorn and Benny wanted to be pop stars, the only window into the pop world was one radio station in Stockholm. That peep through the keyhole led them to a whole new world.
I have grown to love ABBA but I haven’t heard this song. It’s beautiful and very uplifting. Thanks Harri and Brandon. 🌺✌️
Thanks for that, probably my favourite ABBA song and that's saying something because they have so many great songs.
whats not to like!
We are lucky ABBA sounds as amazing live as in the official video (despite little imperfections, which only make it more natural). Thanks!
Beautiful music.
'The Album' is ABBA at their best, and one of the best albums of all time. All nine tracks are superb, my personal favourites being 'Move On', 'Hole In Your Soul', 'Take A Chance On Me', 'The Name Of The Game', 'Thank You For The Music' and the majestic prog rock opener 'Eagle'.
Harri, we all have your love of music!
Oh, you get also me cry, thank you!
Anyway you called (Lovers) live a little bit longer for soft rock. Others recomend you to listen to a consert from Switzerland Frida in lead whit that song and Agnetha in lead on Kisses of fire, and a agree, stunning number. But if you want to hear them more rocky so listen also to Hole in my soul from this consert.
You are right on..what a great song..Great group.i am sure there are many artists can relate. So glad you enjoyed it. I sure did.
💓💓💓👏👏👏
ABBA are such a great pop band. The harmonies and singing tone are so pure. But this is still nowhere near their best song IMO.
❤

@@christianoazzuro6711 👍
Yes ! .. Very few reactors have done this one, and it's one of ABBA's very best, IMHO .. Definitely in my Top 10, and in my top couple of songs on which Frida sings lead.
@@wayne_twentyfive I agree
True love letter to us, their fans. Real class with only a bit of humblebrag 😝
... es gibt eine version von nils landgren die dürfte dir gefallen.
FUNKY ABBA !!!
Great song and it is so meaningful. Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus actually wrote the song, not Anni!! 😂
I've never cared for their music at all yet Im very aware of how popular they are
If you wash your ears you will understand how good they really really really are 🐈⬛🐈♥️
@@larsnilsson6821 I'm sure they are but not my kind of music
@@KittyCarlile-490I do get you.Iam a huge lifelong fan but i justify it's not your kind of music same way i can't get into some other artists that i can't understand or find them annoying. It's a question of taste so....At least your honesty is rather civil and kind lol..
"English is not even their first language" ... as a german I can tell you that english is EASY, because there are many words that have very very many different meanings. Not being a gendered language is another reason why it isnt that hard.
IMO this is a weak song from their repertoire ... but maybe that is because it is their "goodbye song" and that association doesnt add pleasant memories to it.
