Burnham-on-Sea Somerset

Burnham-on-Sea is a seaside town in Somerset, England, at the mouth of the River Parrett, on Bridgwater Bay. Burnham was a small fishing village until the late 18th century when it began to grow because of its popularity as a seaside resort .Burnham is a friendly place and has nostalgia written all over it.The Fox & Goose pub featured at the start is a lovely little pub and motel...it's as you drive into Burnham on the right.The lovely landlady lets you stay in the big car park behind as long as you buy a very tasty meal in the restaurant! 10/10 ! #burnhamonsea #somerset #visit #travel #travel #nostalgia #friendly #pier #places

I lived in Burnham for 12 years when I was growing up - College Court opposite the Pavilion was my Junior school back in those days! So much has changed since we left in 1976! Thanks for showing me around!
