I saw this in the theater as a child, and was sooo scared by that first ghost I hid under the seats for almost the rest of the whole movie. My parents were sooo pissed off that the general attitude of the day was YEA SURE TAKE YOUR LIL KIDS- ITS GREAT! (wrong). It took a lot of convincing but later during the movie they told me it wasn’t scary anymore like 5 or six times and I started watching again when it was almost over 😮
"They're almost real names." Egon is a common first name in Germany, and Jaeger (or rather, Jäger) is also a German word. As a German, I feel attacked. (Just kidding, I know you were probably just joking around XD) Also, as a kid, the Ghostbusters were one third of my childhood. Spider-Man didn't really interest me at all back then.
With the comments talking about watching the sequels, I'd like to add for Ange to play the 2009 video game (or the 2019 remaster) on stream! It's the unofficial Ghostbusters 3 since it takes place 2 years after Ghostbusters 2 and features the original cast.
If you liked the Key Master then you'll definitely love Dark Helmet. So, you should watch Space Balls because you could use a little Dark Helmet in you life.
When I was a kid, I had this Christmas ritual - Croatian national TV would play certain movies on repeat, like "Ghostbusters," and a bunch more. My grandma and I would watch them together and laugh like crazy (meanwhile, my grandpa would already be in bed, yelling from the bedroom, "Shut the f*** up!" while we were having the best time). I was born in 1986, so movies like these probably hit different for me than for someone like Ange or Billy. Anyway, great commentary video - "Ghostbusters 2" is... solid. Maybe you could do a commentary on that one too, but everything after? Total garbage. No need for commentary on bad movies! Tnx Ange and Billy!
Dear God I can't believe how many people haven't seen the ghost busters or the Alien series, the exorcist, beetle juice, short circuit 1&2, the goonies..... And apparently Alien and Avatar yes I'm aware I mentioned the Alien series but damn and don't get me started on star wars 😂 I could go on all day.... Anyway keep up the good work Angelina and accomplice
$5 then is about $20 nowadays. A good example is that would be worth about 5 gallons of gas. So ghostbusters and ghostbusters 2 are must see movies. Both top notch. Everything after that well...
This was hilarious! Been watching the movies since I was a kid! Both of y'all need to watch the 2nd, the one with the all girl team, and the 2 current sequels! But you two collaborating together was hilarious 😂 I enjoyed it!
I don't think I'm making this up, but my memory from the commentary is that Bill Murray not being covered in marshmallow at the end is because he flat refused to get that messy. I don't think it had anything to do with the kiss
Sounds legit, considering Bill Murray was a little 'difficult' on set. But it would imply that Venkman took cover before the others, by chickening out from crossing the streams a little early ...
Billy missed a golden opportunity. Ang, “Nows the time to use your thing.” Billy, “Calm down Ang we’re not reacting to porn.” If either of you are looking for a writer I’ll work for insincere compliments.

And fyi, yes, this is Sigourney Weaver from Aliens, and your guy is Rick Moranis, he played in honey, I shrunk the kids & also Spaceballs, a Star Wars parody.
👻 Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis were both very deliberate casting. The director knew that she's relatively tall for a woman and he's relatively short for a man, and that it would look funny if she dipped him when they kissed. 😜👍
7 out of 10??!! This movie is a solid 10 out of 10 lol 😂. This was the best movie of 1984 and still holds up to today 40 years later. All the cast held up this movie perfectly, but of course the best ones in my opinion were Bill Murray and Rick Moranis.

In the scene where Dana gets grabbed on the chair and dragged into the kitchen, the people grabbing her were initially awkward about where they would grab until she took one of their hands and put it on her chest herself, to show it was okay
YES! ANGELINA YES!!! You gotta watch Ghostbusters 2 for certain... The others... You can if you want but you AT LEAST have to watch Part 2. For real. Love your work Angelina Ghostbusters is CLASSIC. You gotta keep up the great work. PLEASE!
I saw this in the theater as a child, and was sooo scared by that first ghost I hid under the seats for almost the rest of the whole movie. My parents were sooo pissed off that the general attitude of the day was YEA SURE TAKE YOUR LIL KIDS- ITS GREAT! (wrong). It took a lot of convincing but later during the movie they told me it wasn’t scary anymore like 5 or six times and I started watching again when it was almost over 😮
I love watching both you and Billy. Keep up the good work.
"They're almost real names."
Egon is a common first name in Germany, and Jaeger (or rather, Jäger) is also a German word. As a German, I feel attacked.
(Just kidding, I know you were probably just joking around XD)
Also, as a kid, the Ghostbusters were one third of my childhood. Spider-Man didn't really interest me at all back then.
This is the first movie I saw on VHS. Santa rented it for us to watch on our new VCR.
With the comments talking about watching the sequels, I'd like to add for Ange to play the 2009 video game (or the 2019 remaster) on stream! It's the unofficial Ghostbusters 3 since it takes place 2 years after Ghostbusters 2 and features the original cast.
Thank you for the reaction! I really enjoyed it! You guys bought into it hook line and sinker, a mark of good movie making.
I am now on blue sky and I want you to be there as well. I support you there. Please join.
For the record I posted the comment before I finished the video, My sentiment still stands
If you liked the Key Master then you'll definitely love Dark Helmet. So, you should watch Space Balls because you could use a little Dark Helmet in you life.
Ghostbusters 2 is a must.
Lost opportunity, do no 1 on one channel and no 2 on the other one, cross promote between them.
80a films are “old timey”. Ouch, right in the childhood…
Ironic that the neighbor that become the key master keeps getting locked out earlier in the film.
What are you talking about? These guys are WAYYY cooler than Spiderman and all the marvel altogether
Refer to the 80's as "Old Timey" again and we gonna have issues! 😆🤣
I'm unimpressed.
This movie is AWESOME! I am excited to see what you guys think.
My childhood memory is getting my mum to rent this on vhs every week for months.
collab of the year? ah we love it ...also Ghostbusters goated halloween movie
80's films are "Old Timey" films now...... Like when I was young would refer to silent films up the 50s eras.
Billy missed a golden opportunity. Ang, “Nows the time to use your thing.” Billy, “Calm down Ang we’re not reacting to porn.” If either of you are looking for a writer I’ll work for insincere compliments.
Deep down this is a movie about the trials and tribulations of starting a small business.
you two should do more collabs!! this was great, maybe a horror movie !
Horror collab may be coming to ya waaaaay sooner than you think 😏
This movie is an iconic staple of the 80’s. Even after Harold Ramis unfortunately passed away, this movie is still great to put on every time. I even had the theme song in my head by the time I saw the thumbnail to this video. 😅
Nice that you have some company today, Angelina. And nice guy too--funny, I'll have to check his channel as well. Have a nice day, both of you, and you make a good duo, hope to see you both together in the future.
They rated it a 7 because they missed out on 50% of thew jokes and dialogue never shutting up.
So, nobody put together that Louis Tully, the "Keymaster", had been locked out of his place three times?
I really hope you guys continue the series (don’t watch “Ghostbusters: Answer the call”, it’s not part of the canonical universe)
Nobody wanna see that trash lol
Great reaction from the two of you. Didn't stop laughing the whole time. Billy is hilarious. Hope to see you two do more collabs in the future. #BillsMafia represent.
We appreciate this so much!! 🙏💚
OK;
1: Make Billy watch Alien
2: Watch Aliens together
