Up 33-27, not sure why you take that safety intentionally. Only reason is because you already had one blocked.

Yeah kinda, but they also got a very lucky bounce to make a close game a 2 score game. I think they sort of figured they had it in the bag, but in reality it had been a nip and tuck game all the way. OSU kept playing hard and LSU thought they could coast.

Can not stand to look at Cooper or Bruce, both of them cost OSU a natty.

Ohio State should have been voted No. 1 in 96 even with loss 📉 to Michigan

A John Cooper coached Ohio State actually won this game? Has this video been doctored?

In the midst of a losing 📉 season too. Had to wait until 93 to see a one loss season. Too bad he couldn't win at Michigan even once.

John cooper is single-handedly responsible for the Ohio state vs SEC in bowl game narrative. He went 0-5 against SEC teams in bowl games. By a loss margin of a TD of course. Meaning they were all winnable games. John Cooper is the worst big game coach in college football history. 2-10 against Michigan as well

The buckeyes are a great team that wins so many meaningless games, and choke,s that mean something, is there a old lsu clemson game out there

I guess 2002 & 2014 were just meaningless games now. Whole lot of schools out there that wish they had two titles in the last two decades, but okay. The 2016 team was woefully one dimensional and I didn't think they belonged in the playoff to begin like the following year team did but was left out. As for last night's game guess it's targeting by rule, but possibly the worst rule in sports the way it's interpreted. In the LSU-OU game it was obvious and intentional targeting, trying to take the guy's head off. Wade made a good play, but unfortunately Lawrence ducked his head at the last second and it completely changed the game.
These idiot 'rules experts' love talking about the crown of the helmet, but never ever explain how it should done. In order to hit a player low, YOU HAVE to lower your helmet and pray the offensive player doesn't lower his. It's basically mind reading in a split second that's needed. But i'd love to at least see and animated graphic of how these idiots think a hit should be made. I guess the defender should come in, duck his entire body by bending his knees so his butt is touching the ground with head straight up and attempt to tackle that way? Fact is the kid made a great play and is tossed out of the game for it, which has changed far too many games and is exactly the reason tackling is so poor in modern football. Never seen so many missed, broken tackles as i've seen in the last few years and it's because guys are afraid to hit and the runner doesn't have to be. Why not personal foul for offensive player lowering his head? Because that would bring scoring down and we'd hate to lose all the 56-45 types games we get now so everything is called on the defense.
Looked to me like Clemson was well on there way to getting blown out by the obvious better team and that's only where the refs got started, they weren't finished there, but whatever... Like NFL football which I quit watching years ago, the game has become nothing but WWE style entertainment anymore instead of an actual sporting contest like it used to be. It's flash and a whole lot of bias. So we get one of the top two teams against the clear third best team next week and hopefully the players get to decide it this time, but I wouldn't count on it. As for old LSU-Clemson games i'm not sure, but i'm open to suggestions.
