Rob sounds better than anyone in his class. Let alone has the most harsh vocal style. He still has a few notes in the tank for sure. Epic.

He is starting to slow down. But he’s allowed. He puts more work in than any current modern musician. Period.

He is fine when he does songs that have him singing in a lower regsister

Still my favorite band after 59 yrs. Rob is the kindest man and the band has always been amazing. Still my loudest concerts too. They were the best I’ve ever seen. Great memories and good times…🎵🤘🏼😁🤘🏼🩵 🕯️🎙️🎸🎶

Rob is far better now than in the 2004-2012 period.

In his defense, in 2004 he was coming off his solo project. If you listen to Crucible, in particular, you will get a better understanding of why that was. It's lead single featured one of his most brutal vocal performances of all time (Betrayal). When you take into consideration that he would, almost certainly, perform his new album's lead single at pretty much every one of his shows... it becomes apparent how little of a fuck he gave him about his voice during that time period. I think he did a competent job, all things considered.

@@TheShadowBrigade He also smoked like a chimney, he just didn't give a fuck about his voice and his audience.

Envious of anyone who was at this gig, or heard this song live anywhere at all.

He sounded better on other tour dates--look up Bloodstock or the Chicago performance from the same tour
