The biggest race of the for Short Track Super Series is HERE! Speed Showcase weekend at Port Royal Speedway is underway.

Kind of cool seeing these cars at the sprint car track Port Royal Speedway. I can remember as a young kid in the later half of the 1970s, watching the Small Block Modifieds running at Penn National Speedway and future 410 PA Sprint Car legends, Fred Rahmer and Don Kreitz Jr running the Small Blocks when they were teenagers in the 1970s. Elvin Felty was the driver to beat in the Small Blocks at Penn National Speedway who eventually got heavy competition from Paul Lotier with Paul Latier eventually switching over to 410 sprints and a very good 410 sprint car driver before his very serous accident that ended his race career. Paul Lotier's brother In Law, Scott Tobias, was also a Small Bock Modified driver as a teenager at Penn National Speedway in the 1970s and switched to the 410 sprints in the 1980s and suffered a career ending injury in the 410s at this track Port Royal Speedway.
