OH MY GOOOOD!!! THIS IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE FIND! I love how we can see how the show looked on it's golden days, and hear it on it's right pitch. Again, incredible find!
Love this footage! Its honestly kind of weird seeing the Italpark show in good condition, as all the other existing footage is of the show in poor condition.
I admit aswell, this is spectacular footage! I wanna find more footage or pictures of this show, and get as far as finding of what else was translated into spanish
He sure is! He is slightly different though, instead of being Fatz Geronimo he is Fats Domino, I think. I believe he was still voiced by Burt Wilson though.
@@BiggsHobbies Whoa, I'm learning even more! I wonder if he also had the role of “dad” of the group. He was a bit of a father figure to everyone it seems to me, especially Mitzy.
@@Pan-cackes That would be a cool idea! He may have been designed with a mentor-like role in mind, but the WP5 doesn't have much (if anything) in the way of character development, so we don't know much about character dynamics. As far as I know, the show was made strictly with music in mind, so CEI probably wanted to show off the musical side of things, and put the character development aside. He could have been seen also as the "Cool Guy" with his flashy outfit and fancy piano, which come to think of it, is also how he is portrayed in the RAE. So I guess the cool father figure couldn't be too far off.
@@BiggsHobbies I think it too. Fatz was always the most "chic" animatronic of the group and the fact that he plays the piano makes him even cooler. I also wonder if Rolfe's hatred of Rockafire was due to this old group. From what I've seen in videos including this one, Rolfe seems to be an important part of the group ( if your not count Queenie the fox ). He may have developed a hatred after the latter was replaced by the Rockafire and is particularly angry with Fatz because he was there at his time.
@@Pan-cackes That's a cool idea! Technically Rolfe is only in the RAE, as the WP5 has a separate character, "Wolfman". I never thought of Rolfe and Wolfman to be the same character, but its possible that Rolfe is simply Wolfman with a new act. And yea, going from the main attraction to a little-used side show would make him a tad upset. It could also have to do with him wanting to play disco while everyone else doesn't. Technically, most of his hatred is targeted at Fatz specifically, so it is very possible that he is upset that Fatz is the new center act. Either way, he is criminally underused in the RAE.
I noticed that the Wolf Pack 5 characters have different names in some Italpark pictures. Wolf Pack 5 Italpark names: Fatz - Kingo Congo Dingo - Bingo Beach Bear - Max (these are the only names that I could find in some images, I couldn’t be able to find clear images of Wolf Man and Little Queenie having different names.)
My country bought these guys from Italpark. We already had a CEI animatronic show in Playcenter and that was the Hard Luck Bears *Show dos Ursos.* But the Show dos Ursos closed in 1998 probably due to a flood.
