It's the type of dry Batman humor I live for. It's right up there with the panel of him at the site of a murder telling a nearby office "Lighten up. You're unbearably grim."
Reminder that Clark and Connor have mutually settled on a big/little brother dynamic, rather than a parental one. They now have a healthy relationship with each other, and the Kents have even adopted Connor.
@@jacquesmassard9226agreed. One of the worst part of reading comics is missing out on your character's story because you're not reading someone else's book. It was a neat plot hook at first, but it was getting real old by the start of season 4
@bthsr7113 Ideally, they should have only had one time skip. I feel like the five year time skip in season two would have been ideal. They could have still continued with most of the plot for season three And potentially season 4 aswell. It would have also cut down on the characters ( who I personally like to see) are under utilized.
This whole season and the title Outsiders was kind of a nod to the team Batman created back in the day in the comics when he thought the League wasn't doing enough. It was made up of Batman, Metamorpho and Black Lightning. It also introduced the new heroes Katana, Geo Force, Halo, and Looker. This whole season is a love letter to that team and era.
I mean, even if Roy (Arsenal) and Will (Red Arrow) are identical copies on a genetic level (and so is Jim a.k.a. Guardian, for that matter), they've led different lives, have different physical ages, and have different personalities as a result, and only one of them banged and married Cheshire. Lian has a specific dad, who's actually there raising her, regardless of what some DNA test might say. Roy and Jim are just her uncles for all intents and purposes.
You're absolutely right. Genetically speaking, Roy and Will are essentially twins - exact same DNA but different life experiences. The only thing being that they have different physical ages so they're kinda strange brothers/twins combo
Metaphorph. Capable of altering the chemical and even atomic composition of his body at will. For example, turning himself into flaming kryptonite and expelling knockout gas. When he can work past his pain and hangups, he's utterly cracked. Heck, he can literally sweat crack if he puts his mind to it.
Does anyone else find it poetic that Cheshire and Will’s roles have been reversed? Back in season 2 when he was still Red Arrow he drove himself crazy trying to find the original Roy Harper until Cheshire told him they had a daughter and he started to take better care of himself for her. Now look at them
Metamorpho is a great character, a member of the Outsiders in the comic. He was a treasure hunter who was exposed to the Staff of Ra a magical artifact that allowed him to shapeshift to any element or combination of elements he can think of.
*Brion* : Are you keeping me in the dark about what's being done to save my own sister?! Yes, because they're handling the best way they can, and based on your track record, you would just go in guns blazing; so stop being impatient for one minute, and let them do their job.
So, Steel is John Henry Irons, an engineer and weapons designer who was inspired by Superman to help people. He built a powerful armoured suit, and a electromagnetically-powered hammer for that purpose. It's basically like if you had a black Tony Stark who wielded a high-tech version of Thor's hammer. He was first introduced in the comics in the 90s, during the year or so where Superman was 'dead'. Four other "Supermen" appeared during that year - Superboy, a Cyborg Superman (who was only pretending to be Superman), a Kryptonian entity called Eradicator, and Steel. He's remained a consistent ally of Superman in the years since. There's also a terrible 1997 Steel movie starring Shaquille O'Neal. As in 8% on Rotten Tomatoes terrible. Honestly, kids these days have no idea what a bad superhero movie is really like.
As to the “terrorism or not” discussion, generally a terrorist act is one with the basis of a political or ideological goal. So I’d say Ocean Master’s attack would’ve been terrorism
Guardian and Red Arrow are both clones of Arsenal. They See each other as siblings though. Clark aka Superman also sees Conner as his brother even though Conner is Clark's Clone. BTW Clark's alien name is Kal El, while Connor's is technically Kon El
I remember reading somewhere that if a set of twins (identical) males were to marry and procreate with a female set of twins, their children would be genetic siblings despite being in reality cousins.
Plastic Man is low key the most powerful hero in the League. He was shattered to the molecular level, not only did he survive he pulled himself back together.
Metamorpho is underrated. He can become just about anything. Any type of solid, liquid, or gas you can imagine. Like Kryptonite, knock out gas, liquid nitrogen, etc.
Metamorpho: the Elemental Man can turn into nearly any element in nearly any combo and shape. He is dating the daughter of low-rent Luthor wannabe Simon Stagg- the rich guy arrested in the previous episode. He will be on the big screen as part of the upcoming Superman movie.
I think there was some talk that Batman is more used to Bane being all juiced up that’s why he was having trouble, he’s not used to this new Bane who is more focused
Steel AKA John Henry Irons, a gifted engineer who was once saved by Superman and following the "Death of Superman" story, took it upon himself to use his engineering skills to fight crime as Steel who is basically Iron Man inspired by Superman.
Connor is a binary clone, meaning he shares 50% of his DNA with Superman (and identical clone shares 100% of their DNA). Children and parents also share 50% of their DNA.
I really need ya'll to watch Doom Patrol and Stargirl to see the live action version of some of these characters. Plus, to see how good comic book shows are when not structured as a 6 episode event.
You guys realize Red Arrow and Cheshire 's kid technically would have three daddies right! It still might not be clear to you that the other Harper, who started the series as Guardian in Cadmus is another clone of Roy. So there are technically 3 Roy Harper's walking around on this show.
cheshire also can’t actually settle down, shes a known villian and other villains know her face, it wont take long to connect the dots and put her baby in danger constantly especially since they can use the baby as leverage for anything
Identical twins having the same DNA has, I believed, been used to prevent criminal convictions, when DNA evidence implicated one twin in a crime but there wasn't enough other evidence to determine which twin. You can't convict an innocent person, so neither twin gets convicted even though one of them definitely did it.
Shiva is one of the very few people on the same tier as Batman for mortal martial prowess. For non metas in a mundane swordfight? She has a very real chance of being the deadliest woman on the planet. But say Miss Martian held nothing back. She'd wreck Shiva. Wonder Woman would also be able to beat Shiva if she didn't hold back.
Think Suraj was on a trip when they recorded this. He didn’t come back until after they recorded the first episode of Avatar, and YJ is a show they record ahead for.
You gotta look at it from Supermans perspective though, Connor shows up out of nowhere and you find out theres a clone of you running around and you had no say in it. Hell Connors whole point of existing is to kill superman "should he stray from the light". so yeah i would be a bit apprehensive too. And it's not like this lingers past season 1 either, they are family by season 2.
Who is your favorite Exceptional Human Being?
Please watch The DC animated movies yall are watching DC out of order (that's why yall don't know characters)🤷♂️
Rip Toriyama
Batman listing off every person who snuck onto Santa Prisca was petty and i love it

@@ninjaboy4831 He was telling that to Hawkman.
Metamorpho was curse and now he is basically a living period table, he can turn his body in any element
periodic* table

I hate how this all happened off-screen...it is not a season 3 issue really more of a series issue

Don’t sleep on Plastic Man. The dude is a League level threat, not even joking. He was literally the best part of the entire Injustice comic run
DCeased and Dark Knights Metal plastic man was good too.
Did Navi completely forget that she saw Nightwing, Batman and all the others plotting together what 1-2 episodes ago???
Yes. That's this groups main thing
The fact that Deathstroke has both fear & respect of Lady Shiva says a lot about how dangerous she is

This is the point in the season where I advise you to start looking at the first letter of each episode title.
??
the entire season does that, the episodes so far form "P R E P A R E T H E"

I never cared about any Lady Shiva in any media, but ever since Young Justice happened, i have very big crush on that version and no one can shame me.

BEST VERSION OF BANE, DUDE GOT OFF HIS VENOM ADDICTION!
Plus, Metamorpho and Katana VS Deathstroke and Lady Shiva is METAL AS HECK!!!!
You guys realize Khary Payton has been Aqualad/Aquaman since day 1.
That was metamorpho you can CHECK HIS BACKSTORY IN THE BATMAN BRAVE AND THE BOLD
Brave and the Bold didn't have his origin, though. Justice League and Beware the Batman did, but it's very different from the comics.
