ive been doing lots of research on making spearguns recently, thinking its going to be my next project. The only questions that I cant seem to get an answer for is how do you test the builds accuracy? Or does it not really matter as long as you are precise when drilling the track out?

You should just be very careful while cutting the track. Other than that, there's no way to check accuracy until it's ready to shoot.
