The A.I.in GTA IV... I was too young to understand the concept the missions, so I either went to the building next to a hospital with a lift to the roof, and sniped helicopter pilots until I ran out of bullets. (As I said, I didn't know what missions were so I didn't have enough money to buy a lot of ammo). But how did I get some money? I went to the subway, and pushed people in front of trains. Since I didn't hit them, the cops didn't go after me, and I picked up the money once the train left. And when I was in a car chase? I would drive at max speed on a straight road, and the cops being faster, would go one on each side of me. I would then brake just before slamming into a building, leaving both cop cars to slam into it, then leave on another road.
You need help , your a psychopath 😂. Bruh wtf I’m dead , “too young” for missions but not too young to commit manslaughter for profit. Tbh I was the same in assassins creed 2 , I thought the game was ab being a dude in normal clothes who beats up guards and runs away.
@@santi_super_stunts2573 same thing in GTA San Andreas, I was too young to know what missions were, so I always either went to the police station and got the floppy balloon baton (that’s not what it looked like though) and beat cops with it, or went to the small village with a flamethrower and just burn everything to the ground
@@Boba_Fett_Bounty_Hunter True, when I was young me and my friend played GTA San Andreas and we didnt understand what to do, we never even made it to the first mission and I recently just played GTA San Andreas for the first time last year and we just had to ride the bike and drive to CJs House, I think GTA Vice City was a lot easier, because I finished some of the missions when I was young :D

There actually is funnily enough. I used to watch this GTA Chaos mod videos before Kevin did GTA V Chaos mod videos.
Due to the car physics me and my friends worldwide universally called this Grand Theft Cinder block and Grand Theft Rollerskate

I love GTA 4 but I will admit this game can be scary and cringry sometimes, this mainly happens in free rome because the NPCs say such cring things sometimes and then they say very dark scary things sometimes to. I also agree with Kevin the ai is crazy in this game and broken sometimes.
NPCs always have said silly and cringy stuff in GTA games. Anyway, GTA IV's AI at its best is definitely better than GTA V's, except for the fact that in the latter, NPCs know how to turn back when they are amongst obstacles, but that's it.

Both IV and V have pro's and cons, the cons in IV are now pro's in V and the pro's in IV are now con's in V

The AI in IV is definitely better than V's.
I’m actually re-playing the campaign and it’s shorter than i remember however, the barebones experience is honestly pretty satisfying when you’re so used to GTA V

One of my favorite things about GTA 4 was the vehicle deformation. Loved hopping in a Patriot and trying to flatten it as much as possible, as well as the other cars

The things I wish they would have kept are the injured running animations and the NPCs not letting go of your vehicle once they grabbed it and you started driving. That was always hilarious to me for some reason 😂

Hey Kevin I know you don't normally do let's plays or full game playthrough but I think a GTA 4 full play series would do really well. I know you have to film and edit a video every day so it's hard to play longer stories but by the looks of it your audience would love it.

The driving is the only reason I couldn't keep playing GTA IV. It's just so horrendous.
Still better than GTAV's AI by far though, like how in V if you bump in to someone using an umbrella or their phone they just drop it, instantly get severe brain damage then walk or run away.
In IV they actually pick up their stuff and you can pick the objects they held up and throw them at people.
It's amazing how much of a devolution GTAV is in so many ways, Crowbcats video is an enlightening experience.
The title of this video is mostly clickbait, most of it doesn't have anything to do with AI.
The only big flaw GTA IV's AI had was the fact that driver NPCs hardly tried to move back when they were stuck between two objects, like at 11:33, but overall it still is impressive in many core aspects GTA V didn't bother to include again, or even completely downgraded:

@@danwordgod2017 Yeah V is just shockingly lazy at times, I have no idea how it became so huge to be honest. It has almost none of the charm of the other games.
You can't even get the army after you at 5 stars in it which is incredibly lame, the military base is kinda cool but with how crappy the health system is why bother going on a rampage when you can be put down in like 4 seconds.
GTA IV is perfect and has no flaws.
I'm the biggest GTA IV fanboy you'll ever meet, and I wouldn't even say that, very few games are "Perfect"

@BlueWarHead Except that the videos I showed made tons of comparisons in core/basic aspects of both games, aspects which simply were better in IV, so yeah, it's not ignoring what V does, but the fact that in general is flawed as f*ck.
What you say about IV cops is still more balanced, realistic, enjoyable and playable than overpowered cops with Terminator accuracy that can get you killed even when going at 200MPH in a f*cking sport car (As their AI doesn't even rely on actual aiming or proper coded accuracy, but a pathetic and broken aim-bot system), shoot you to death for standing around, defy the law of physics with unrealistic speed-boosts which are completely rubber-banded to the player, instantly knowing when you commit a crime even on the top of a f*cking mountain (In GTA IV, even with its map being only city, it took way more time for the player to get stars), and I can keep going on and on. After all they're videogames, I want to have fun, so if I had to choose between a more forgiving but far more fair designed system, over a not only a restrictive, but totally broken one, I would choose the first one.

Nostalgia asf, still my favourite GTA no doubt, I think it’s better than 5 story wise when you play all the DLC’s as they all have cool ways of connecting with each other and make for a far more compelling story than 5.

@@danwordgod2017 Yeah but nostalgia is a feeling, watching the game be played AND playing it are both nostalgic because the games are getting old now. They’re not seen as hot shit and get a lot of flak actually, but they remind me very much of the 360 days when life for me was at least simpler.
