Best Metal Print of 2022: Winner Announced!

Over the last couple months I've been reviewing metal prints that I bought from five companies as part of our 2022 Metal Print Shootout. If you recall, I ordered prints of the same image, of the same (or similar) sizes, and limited myself to a $100 budget. Now that the individual metal print reviews are complete, it's time to wrap up the 2022 Metal Print Shootout and announce the winner. Last year, Artbeat Studios was the grand champion. Let's find out if they'll repeat as champs again this year!

I saw you’ve reviewed Metal Mouth Prints in the past. How do these companies compare to Metal Mouth Prints?
Such a great question. Metal Mouth Prints has very good prints as well. The print of theirs that I tested in the past was their super cool magnet frame system (Ezi Mounts). Apple/Orange comparison here. Never compared them with same print. Might just need to do that!

Was gonna say… no way Shutterfly could rank higher than Whitewall lol… the winning order was to be expected… never tried Artbeat, so what was it that beat BayPhoto by a hair (or two)? I currently use BayPhoto.. love them! Some big name nature and landscape tiggers use Bay… although Whitewall is the lab for many top galleries apparently… in any case, great video. Would love to see an acrylic shootout!
Where are all the SME's offering such prints? Seems all you promote are the bigger platforms. Same names, in a different order for the top five this year on last years results.

Yea, I knew early on to be highly skeptical of search results. Most are very skewed. Takes awhile to weed through it all. Thanks for the video. I'm just looking into metal prints to give as gifts. But don't know much about it yet. 👍

I'm curious, did they know you were going to review their metal print? I ordered 3 metal prints and no joke, they were the worst I have ever received, quality, packaging and customer service. They didn't ship my prints within the time they said they were going to. I contacted them 2 weeks after they had said it would have been shipped. They said there was a quality problem and had to reprint. I asked them is it in their practice to notify a customer their shipment is going to be late and they said they do NOT. (Wtf) the prints came in one box attached alllll to the same board. There are I don't even know how to describe it othere that color pool dots all over the prints. I've gotten metal prints from different companies and by far theirs was the worst quality and packaging. Even the wall mount was janky af. I bought from them because of your review. You should try again and have it sent to a friend or someone where they don't know it's you to re-test/ re-review.

Thank you for the message. I’m absolutely in shock with what you have shared. I’ve tested their prints annually for a number of years and have always been impressed. After reading your post, I went to Facebook and Google just to see what others are saying about their experience and their reviews are pretty amazing. It’s been 6’ish months since I have last tested Artbeat, so as I see it… couldn’t hurt to check their reviews. Now regarding ship to address… for the shoot outs, I have multiple addresses I use, and in the past I have had sent to random addresses even my sister in law who lives in a completely different city! That said mistakes can happen. I seem to recall they have a money back guarantee, did you reach out to them about this? #artbeatstudios
@PhotographyTalk thank you for responding. I did not know they have a money back guarantee or I just did not remember. I will try reaching out to them. Part of the issue with me not reaching out is because am a single mom with a baby that doesnt like to sleep on their own so I didnt get a chance to open it until a couple weeks later. I thought it was too late. I keep seeing adds for them with prefect packaging and I'm like wth happened with mine? To which I did comment on an add on Facebook, but they never replied. I have pictures of the outside of the box I can send you. I didn't take a picture while I opened it but you can see where each of them were taped. I can send you a photo of the back of them. Not sure if I mentioned above it's not letting me look while typing but there is also a tiny ding in the corner of my 24x36. Also, it's good to know you're ordering them anonymously. Maybe try ordering a couple metal prints at a time? I did a 24x36, 16x24 and 12x18. Idk, maybe someone was just having a bad day when packaging mine.
It's a poor reflection on you that you are unwilling to allow my earlier negative post to be publicly viewed and unwilling to state the methods used to come to a conclusion!
First off, this is the first post I've seen of yours. I'm guessing because you JUST signed up for a TH-cam account "Joined Jan 4, 2023" (3 days prior to you leaving this very post) . TH-cam has a pretty good nose for spam, so I would guess your first post you tried leaving after setting up your NEW account was blocked from TH-cam, which is why I never saw it. Putting aside setting up an account for the sole purpose of leaving a review... how horrible does that make you look? So let me guess... you must work or represent one of the companies who didn't win? Perhaps do this... rather than being shady with this account you set up here, if my conclusion bothers you so much... take this as a learning tool to improve your print. Next year assuming I test your brand (which I have no clue who you are)... if it's better, heck you could possibly win my opinion. After all bud, as I state in EVERYONE of these videos... "...I'm going to share with you things I like, dislike... you may agree, you may NOT..." If you took the time to watch any of these videos you will see exactly how I come to conclusions and evaluate these prints.
