How could you not play your guitar after 40 years bro...? My guitar is my life,I can't stop playing it not even for a week..keep on playing bro,never stop,always learn something new when we play it as often as we can..peace..🙂👍
I play this on the 6th fret (Bb) but it does hurt my fingers after playing it for awhile. Since your playing the song in A,D and E, couldn't I just stick a capo on the first fret changing A,D,E to Bb Eb F. Keep up the good work my friend .
You have helped me learn so many cool songs! The bluesy hammer-on chords make the same funky sound as what I hear on the original. I've always just played it as straight chords. Many thanks!

HOW CAN ANYONE PLAY THIS WITHOUT THE HAMMER ON??!!! Thank you SO much!! I mean I can play it, it's just that the hammer on gives it the swing and the groove. I've been looking at some of the video's on this and none of the acoustic players employ that hammer on. Maybe that's why John screams at the beginning?

That's not John....it was Paul
You got it straight. You're absolutely correct if you bar the A you lose the correct voicing and you can't do the final E riff properly.
i wish you wouldve taught the intro but still good.
