Beautiful concept and execution. Very calming, cocoon effect with the wall in the backyard and landscaping around the pool! Also, I love the sculpted staircase and plaster walls with that color palette! You could say it's a bit dark but then again its Malta, with more sunshine and better climate than anything in Europe. So, it's a perfect place for some shade and indoor-outdoor living.

finally someone who thought about how nobody really wants to sit at the kitchen bench facing the rest of the kitchen/oven/sink etc... people want to be able to sit at the bench but FACING the TV and living room. I noticed how he made a nook un the kitchen bench for a stool so people can face the TV and living space which is more social. Smart guy!
So easy for modernism/minimalism to feel cold & sterile. This is a great example of doing it right with using warm materials to make it feel inviting.
