Piko is adorable! He was there first, now has problems with his back and hips. When one of your family members develops an issue, I would hope no one would remove that member and take them to a strange place. Piko and Maple tolerate each other. He has as much right to be there as Maple. They are both loved and proper care is provided. Both deserve to be respected. God bless!

It is a good thing that Maple is on a leash because that mesh is going to be too easy to climb, and maybe even the slats. She is a powerful jumper and keeping her safe out of doors certainly will be your priority. I’ve had cats all my life and they can be rascals when you least expect it! The new catio looks great!
Maple's an optimist; she's always ready to try to engage with Piko. Well, maybe someday he'll come around.

The yard is beautiful now. They both like it. Piko even more than Maple. Which is surprising for me.

Is z very hasty cat...poor maple always gets hissed T. I would replace Pico Sith another cat. He should be the only cat in someone else s family. Its not enjoyable to eat h his nastiness

I fully agree with you, but now its too late. Pico is loved by his owner too. And he deserves it. The mistake was done, when they got Maple, without thinking one moment about the different temperaments and needs for both cats. I feel sorry for both of them. But the owner seems like accepting this constant stress and fighting between them. Sometimes she critizises Maple for touching Pico, what makes it even worse.
Its a good example what happens, when humans just think about, what cat THEY want and not what would be best partner for their cat.
