Directly and strictly addressing the title:
If you manage to reduce current load on the charging system through LED replacements, I suppose you might gain some performance...
Might see more perf replacing the heavy Lead-Acid with supercaps or a BMS'd Lithium battery, tho.

Reducing 3lbs off the front of the car will have a much bigger impact on overall performance than a few miliamps of electrical load, but yes, LED bulbs and an Antigravity battery are also in this cars future.

Taking off 18lbs with one is worth the cost. Save more weight than switching to a cf hood at a third the cost
