Ritual beast really be eating ngl
ritual beast player game one should always shotgun shifter in draw phase, cards like gamma can't interupt it because no one runs gamma in main and is a one off, and no one runs crossout target for shifter, so 95% of the time shifter in draw phase is the correct move always.. he could of push theru that board and otk possibly had that talents not rip
You can chain to it there potentially and dodge it a little, you also play into thrust that way and don’t even know if it’s a deck that loses to shifter or not. They could play around it now that it’s known. I think you should hold it until they commit to a play at least.
@@dominic7100 in that specific situation, he doesn't lose to thrust, is never good to hold shifter, especially for that long in this format, because decks like branded, snake eye, will have a chance to play thru it, at which point you need multiple non engine to beat
@@donnelleraeburn9207 The end board should have been Rage + Phantom, with Ash in hand. So playing around Talent and losing to Thrust anyway but let's ignore this entirely.
Prosp gets Ashed, you can't talent draw due to Prosp, handripping is useless, so you Talent take either Rage or Phantom. But on the normal summon if you took Phantom, Rage will link away with it and banish your Normal summon with SP. Or if you took Rage and used no effect after Normal Summoning (that will be negated by Phantom if you use it anyway), you can make SP to target anything, Phantom will chain to get a Yubel on the board + 1 counter on Chronicle, and you still lose because of the followup after taking 3200 damage.
@@babrad very good point, i saw this line as well but i realized it didn't really matter in the end for the ritual beast player side.
I don't know if we saw Ritual Beast win so much as we saw DRNM into Evenly win.
Cards that are designed to deal with combo decks that go completely uninterrupted lol
its the same logic as handtraps, no different than saying someone can win because they resolved imperm + nib, or ash + ogre, etc. Non-engine is designed for those scenarios.

1 20 sec he supposed to have the yubel 2 on the graveyard instead of yubel 1 to destroy it then special summon the unchained and the yubel 2 then link rage set the trapcard of unchained then special summon squimer then use its effect link for apolusa ,use squimer effect on the graveyard revive spirit of yubel ,use opening then revive yubel 1 special summon veidos and last but not least important use yubel 2 and samsara and end with a field of (varudas ,apolusa 2 counters,spirit of yubel,rage with the trapcard set and use the banner to add poly then set it )
wtf was that yubel player end board game 1??? what was he thinking extending that far under shifter to still end on phantom pass??
they needed to do that to end on phantom. the way people are building Yubel the deck has a hard time ending on interruptions if they get shifter'd
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru he could have ended on rage + phantom at any point I'm just wondering why he didn't and chose to leave yama on field like he wasn't getting destroyed next turn still under shifter anyway. If he was going to end on phantom pass he could have done so without using so many resources and playing into nibiru
@@ryionizer3622 the only way yama was getting destroyed was by card effect. unless you don't know this neat little thing called Nightmare Pain. Phantom of Yubel is a you guessed it is a "Yubel" monster so they can't beat over it in BP.

That's crazy, anyway unexplored winds effect to tribute your pain(floo) anyway fenrir target pain (Kashtira) anyway mikalis target nightmare pain (exosister) that's just listing possible shifter decks it could have been, and im sure ritual beast has a way to play through one monster negate and put up a spell trap removal. G1 Ritual Beast line was really bad, if you commit so early to Ulti-Nochi you just lose to Nibiru. Elder + Canna/Rampengu should play around Nibiru

Also it’s crazy people say ritual beast not good or it just floo. Ive come to the conclusion that those that never touched the deck or got beat by it just don’t understand the deck nor like it. Ritual Beast is by far one of the most complex decks in the history of yugioh imo. If you misplay just a little, you get punished bad for it!!!

The ritual beast player was right in grabbing ritual beast bonds. They could’ve grabbed bonds then ask for response and opp would’ve dropped Nib, chain bonds go into the new link 4 nib doesn’t resolve because the new link 4 says monsters can’t be tributed. But they did good.
link 4 doesn't stop nibiru because its not a cost to tribute
Ulti-Reirautari only prevents tributes that are a cost. Nib tributes for effect so Rei doesn't protect from Nib

Incorrect. Inheritance has to search a monster with a different Type than the reveal. Tamers can't search other tamers because all tamers are Psychic, but all the Spirits can search each other because they're all different types
