5:20 - According to the commentary team of the match Julio actually got his first major top with Ritual Beast so those are likely the sleeves he got from playing the deck in 2015. Kinda neat how things come full circle as now he's going to worlds with the deck.
EUWCQ Was literally 50% shifter decks. It was so rough, lost 3 matches in a row to shifter after starting 3-0-0. Should have prepared for shifter, thought I would get shiftered 33% of the time against tenpai or ritual beast but the tenpai players drew it every game.
rb player was on crack in g3 elder plus cana should have been able to lead him to a board with gaiapelio while still calling fire, no idea how he messed it up going uninterupted like that while also not playibg around nib
Game 2 he could have made ulti gia after the link summon then summon nochi tag out nochi for the link 2 then tag out the link 2 into 2 bodies and keep comboing
Spiritual Beast Tamer Winda does let you summon out Ulti -gaiapelio. It ignores summoning conditions. Also RB player definitely missed multiple activations but to his credit, this deck is difficult
@ISC-RTR how can he judge the rb player for not summoning a 3200 attack beat stick against tenpai? That would be dumb. I can read that he didn't say that it gets it's effect but if u r not pushing for game then there's no point summoning gaiapelio off of winda.
even with the opponent missing nib timing there i don't think there's a way to both apollousa and protos right? With 1 card combo it doesn't seem possible to both play around nib and make a board that has a good chance vs tenpai.
LP cards for time has always been a thing, Dogwood just became more relevant because of every deck now has Lacrima to burn for 1200. If it's not Dogwood then it's Mourner, Scarlight Dragon, Volcanic Scattershot, Cowboy etc...

So believing in the heart of the card of your pet deck actually works huh
@@shirohirukaany somewhat relevant deck will eventually get working support that will "break it".
I had that sleeves years ago, for sure I keep for this moment XD

EU beat the plant allegations that day but at what cost...
eu losing to tenpai now smh Kappa
At least the plant players were good, some of the games in top cut were so poorly played lmao
Worth it
you can winda into gaiapelio but it can not activate its effect to negate
Instead of apo he could've went for Gaiapelio, he sent the exact materials, he could've won.
But he was clearly sweating.

Those grease streaks on the mat are bothering me.
24:38 how did he dump the fusion to grave with dimensional fissure up? Idk ritual beast well
A card returning from Banished to GY isn't considered being "sent to GY" so they can do that under Shifter, DFissure and DDG.
Why does EU send 7 representatives to worlds total when NAWCQ has a bigger player pool and we only send 6 total
In elder combo I banish steeds the second effect so it’s fine
Game 2 he could have made ulti gia after the link summon then summon nochi tag out nochi for the link 2 then tag out the link 2 into 2 bodies and keep comboing

Gaiapelio says if summoned this way, gain the effect. So no, it can't
@@Bitsalty68you can still summon it
but it will be basically a vanilla 3200 atk beatstick xd
@@Bitsalty68Read what @youknowme3226 actually said, they only said you can summon it, nothing about the effect.
@Bitsalty68 he said it does let you summon it, which it does. Nothing he said was about whether it gets the effect or not, which it clearly doesn't.

They must have been on some good shit if they let ritual beast in the finals
4:28 the first line of the new Lara says that you can only special summon it once per turn. How did he summon it more than once?
Nvm I read it wrong
Ritual Beast isn't for everyone 😅 but somehow still made it this far
The rb player messed up, with dfissure he can do a much better line with pengu that locks fire with protos and puts up a i:p on top of his board.
ye coulda made ulti gaia to beat the hts too
Bro please watch and upload top 4 I have never seen so many misplays IN MY LIFE
how did his LP get to 28000? new here sorry

In game 2 he had nib and imperm in hand, so even apo wasn’t enough to stop it
@Marco-zq7ch yeah he said in interview he had imperm nib, that's why he was holding that nib until the very end
Their hand was also like 4 normals iirc, it specifically did not have any lines into apollousa + protos and yeah imperm would have beat that too.
Actually Good commentary DB, just needed to remember konami to UNBAN ISOLDE 😊
this is not dueling book
Ulti-Pettlephin wouldve gone IN this match.
Time to destroy Tenpai on the ban list and not touch Snake Eyes
Why not hit both of em in the banlist
Especially more on Snake Eyes
Don't care Snake-Eye player, your deck is getting hit whether you like it or not.
@@thedog7494 I was making a joke
That ritual beast player is soo weird like dude plays a shifter and protos deck and gets annoyed cause went against tenpai like bruh
I’d be annoyed too if I lost to god hands with weaker hands to win the EUWCQ.
The difference is that other side is playing minus iq deck where a baby could pilot it and make it to top cut
LMFAO ar the LP gain for time. Meta is so bad. 😂😂😂

Losing to -50 IQ deck is annoying
