It's hard to lead a completely zero-waste life.
So, sometimes I make mistakes in the video because of the lack of information. 😭

🌿 What is EM? (Effective Micro-organisms)
These are good microorganisms that collect microorganisms that are beneficial to people and the environment.
There are a variety of beneficial microorganisms such as lactobacillus, yeast, archaeobacillus, and photosynthetic bacteria.
This is a natural substance.
It is a natural substance that is beneficial to the environment, so you can use it with confidence.

EM stock solution: 20g
Flour: 10g
Sugar: 20g
Salt: half a teaspoon
Water: 2L
After mixing the ingredients well,
1 week in summer in a warm place,
15 days in winter.
EM likes warm things and hates cold and sunlight.
If it smells sour, it is success.
The gas in the EM can cause the vessel to burst.
So, let go of the gas little by little once every 2-3 days.😊

Hi! thank you again for another informative video on how to be more sustainable and eco-friendly! ✨ I just wanted to remind you that when throwing away disposable masks, we should always remember to cut off the elastic strings! As they tend to end up in the ocean and it’s dangerous for the animals! You can easily separate them from the masks and you can even reuse them as elastic bands. Wow this is so interesting! It's my first time hearing and learning about EM. It's okay to slowly learn about being ecofriendly; a small practice can make a big difference~ I too am learning 😆 I will practice this someday 🍃🌱🌾

What ingredients are in EM? What is it?
@@_Siyana8_ As I understand it, it is a lactobacillus culture, which is the same thing that turns cabbage into saeurkraut and acts on some other fermented foods too. It is the infection that gets into wine and turns it into wine vinegar too, I believe, and might also be what puts the sour in sourdough.

I'm really happy to have come across your videos. In only a few weeks I learned about making dish soap out of used oil and now the EM technique. I’m really thankful. Unfortunately, where I live, we can’t find EMa so I have to activate the Em1 myself through fermentation but it doesn’t matter, I’m looking forward to making trying this new product. I was really happy with the result after making my own dish soap so I hope that my experience with EM will also be good.

It’s always cold in 🇨🇦 so wondering if this will work for me.
@@anuradhamenon4466 It will just take longer to grow most likely. Find your warmest non-sunny spot in the house. It's like kidding yeast along until it starts multiplying for breadmaking or making beer or fermented vegetables: just takes a little longer in the winter months. If you get a sour smell that means its working. Think sourdough starter if you've ever done one of those.

저도 이엠계피 도전해보았는데요!! 3일정도 그늘지고 따듯한곳에 놓았고 열어보니 계피에 하얀 곰팡이 같은것들이 피었는데 괜찮을까요!?
이엠계피 만들때 넣은 시나몬스틱은 말려서 다시 활용하려고 물로 행구어냈는데 다시 써도 될까요!? 걸어두고 이엠계피 뿌리려구요!!

화장실은 샤워할 때 청소솔을 이용해서 닦아줍니다.😄
말씀처럼 너무 오래 두면 얼룩이 생겨서 지저분해 보이는 단점이 있습니다.😅

In the US there is only EM marketed as something to spray on plants and soil to 'improve garden soils.' Is there only one kind of EM? Is this the same stuff? They said it was an innoculant of lactobacillus and only viable for about 6 months. Same stuff do you think? I have my doubts about this. How can it stay alive in just plain water for six months? Living things need to eat and multiply. Were your EM prfoducts active? Did you see evidence the bottles got pressurised after a bit? Did you need to keep it in the refrigerator or anything?
I make my own sauerkraut (like white kimchi) and can make my own lactobacillus. Maybe I ought to start spraying kraut juice around!
