Reminds me of army blackout forest field maneuver at night, no light allowed. Chow came we don't know what we're eating, except for some ray of moonlight.
Hello Lot, I make spaghetti every month for my wife and I add mushroom, meatballs and bell pepper. My wife likes it a little sweet so I add tomato paste. Have a good time and hope the power is restored soon!!
Lot has done the greatest job in holding the family together during the long brownout. Maybe Santa Claus will have a generator or two on his sleigh next year? Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Good Evening Lot , I Hope You , Brian And Your Family Have A Great Night ! I Hope Your Electric Comes Back On Soon ! Advance Merry Christmas To All Of You ! Ingat 🥰🙏🙏🙏💯🎄🎄🎄
You have the one thing going for Brian now is he is part of is LOVE! FAMILY! He is a lucky man to be a part of that in these difficult circumstances now. He knows that. He has real family. You, and your sharing of your thoughts is what I tried to do there but I chose the wrong one not interested in sharing with me.
I have to agree with Brian, I’m not a fan of sweet spaghetti sauce. I use marinara, tomato sauce and paste, basil, ground beef, ground pork, onions, garlic, and sometimes I even use clams. I wish you could try my homemade spaghetti sauce. You’d love it. It’s almost as good as my zamboangenya wifee’s lumpia!
Would you and asawa consider investing in a generator or solar? Did you end up throwing out food from the refrigerator and freezer because of the brownout? Thank you for sharing part of your day. God bless.
Lot, you may have already commented on it, but, if not, would you share with us your feelings about making the move from AC to Siargao? Any regrets, surprises? Any things in AC you miss; the things you don't, etc.?
It would be difficult to cook in the dark. Did you say the water you guys were washing in is salt water? That would be rough on the skin, and tender areas.
Lot, Another day without power. The Philippines has long struggled with unreliable electricity due to the failure of past and present governments to invest in a stable national grid, leading to frequent brownouts. Additionally, the economy’s heavy reliance on OFW remittances as a primary income source is unsustainable. Instead, the government should prioritize infrastructure development, similar to Thailand, which has successfully attracted foreign investment and created local jobs. By investing in roads, power systems, and industries, the Philippines can reduce its dependence on overseas workers and provide better opportunities at home, freeing Filipinos from being “slaves to the world.”
Hello to all of you. I like the christmas trees you have . Very nice
Seeing your family homestead remind me of the Ma and Pa Kettle movies of the 1950;s
You guys are doing pretty well dealing with no power. Not sure how I would do in the same situation. Hope they get your power back before long.
