    have to say that is really an awesome looking display with strong poses and I like that that each shelf is not too cramped with figures. Also clever way to create webbing.

    I unfortunately don't have a case like yours for this kind of display, but I'll definitely be using this advice on custom webbing!

    I just pre-ordered classic suit spidey so this was awesome to see on my recommended. I dont have an Ikea detolf so I will have to be a bit more creative with where to tie strings to on my bookcase but I will try something similar thank you friend!

      Congrats on preordering Spidey! I’m glad you found the tips in this video helpful 😁 If you display your figures in a bookcase and don’t have dedicated anchor points for the webs, you can stick small clear adhesive hooks to the side walls of the bookcase or on the surface directly above the figure for anchor points:

      I would love to! As it happens though, I haven’t had much free time to shoot/edit any videos lately since I’m pretty swamped with work and life outside the hobby 😭 I recently got Mysterio and would love to make a video featuring him and Upgraded Suit too… not enough hours in the day 😅

    Will the holding webs pose cause any harm to the suit

    • @PosingwithPeter
      @PosingwithPeter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you’re referring to the Staten Island Ferry pose, it’s unlikely to cause damage to the suit since his arms and legs are mostly straight.

      @@PosingwithPeter are you sure? Coz I want to do it but I’m scared

    • @PosingwithPeter
      @PosingwithPeter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@captainroz5227 I had my figure posed like that for a few months - mine is fine. I’ve also seen other collectors pose their Spidey figure like that across Reddit / Facebook with no issues.
      However if you want your figure in perfect condition then it’s best not to do any poses that could cause you stress / anxiety. I can’t exactly guarantee with 100% certainty that your figure won’t be damaged in the pose because it ultimately depends on your personal experience - people handle their figures differently which can lead to different outcomes. I personally enjoy posing my figures so I’m okay with risking some creases & wrinkles here and there, but I’m also aware many other collectors are afraid to damage their own figure which is understandable. As I always say, do whatever works best for you 👍

    what happens if there is no metal frames? p_p

    • @PosingwithPeter
      @PosingwithPeter  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you’re displaying figures in a cabinet that doesn’t have metal frames, you can try placing these small clear plastic command hooks on the side walls or upper surface of your cabinet:

    • @PosingwithPeter
      @PosingwithPeter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha no need to call me “sir”, just “Peter” will do 😉
      And yeah, Home-made suit is indeed the most posable modern-era Spidey figure since the suit is entirely soft fabric (cotton?) that can stretch with no risk of damage. I say “modern-era” because it’s possible that the older Spider-Man figures from Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield might be very posable as well, but I personally don’t own those older figures so I wouldn’t know for certain.
