    Thank you so much for this series, I've been struggling with my mental health for the past two years of my studies and haven't done anything worthwhile to actually learn so this is a great help for my examinations this month :DDD

    Sir why you didn't wrote the description? Is it not important to write that words. The description which is shown in 5:15

    • @paphitisn
      @paphitisn  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, you do not need to write the descriptions. they are there for you to read and make sure to set up the fields correctly. for example the fields Ready and Sold must display YES/No and not a checkbox. they are not descriptions of what the field is, like what we would enter in Access when setting up a new table.

    what does double or single mean in the data types

    • @paphitisn
      @paphitisn  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@HamdanAllie it indicates the number of decimal digits allowed after the decimal point. Double allows for mor decimal digits than Single. Can't remember how many for each type for Access. I think it is 7 deci.al places for Single and 15 for double. Either will be more than enough for the exams so it does not really matter which one you use for numbers with decimal places.

    Hello sir it’s me again 🥰☝️ 7:08 should i always keep it “double” when there are decimal places ? and when they don’t mention the description ?

    • @paphitisn
      @paphitisn  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It does not really matter, double or single. Double allows for more decimal places than single but even single allows for quite a lot and they will not be giving you numbers with many decimal places. To be safe though just ise double. For while numbers though, always use long integer, again to be safe.

    What is the meaning of indexed yes/no when importing the csv files.

    • @paphitisn
      @paphitisn  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If it is indexed then it will not allow duplicate entries in that field, like a primary key. If it is NO then it will allow duplicate entries in that field.

    What is indexed

    • @paphitisn
      @paphitisn  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Indexig helps speed up data retrival based on that field which is indexed. A primary key field is indexed and duplicates set to not allowed by default. This is because your searches will be based on that field and you do not want to have duplicates stored in that field. For the syllabus you do not need to worry about indexing apart from the primary key field which will be done automatically.
